How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Clarification on Incision Care

In the DR I would
1st) glove up or wash up and remove tape
2nd)wash area and faja with hibiclens
3rd) Do a quick bird bath with hibiclens and Dial antibacterial soap
4th)Clean area and belly button with Iodine and lanacain spray
5th) Apply neosporin to belly button and drain hole
6th) Pack belly button with gauze and tape it in place
7th) Tape drain site down to prevent tension on stitches
8th) Reseal incision with tape
Finally put that awful faja back on and complain about how much I wish I was home, and how I should have never done this. LOL
I would do this entire process every two days while in the DR and or every day that I received a massage. When I would schedule the nurse and Brunilda at the same time and it worked out great. Brunilda would do the massage while the nurse would wash my faja and clean. By the time my massage was over the faja would be dry and she would give me my bird bath and stuff me back in my second skin.
The only difference in the process when I got home was that I would wash my faja with a little tide and bleach.
