I greatly appreciate your feedback. I have given Dra. Robles my deposit and I will be seeing her on March 20th. Now for you veterans, I need your checklists, feedback, advice etc. Robles is selecting my RH and I have requested Paradise. I'm taking iron, folic acid and Vitamin C. What else do I need? Any advice as I prepare? What should I puchase online and what should I buy in DR?

Robles has no deaths, incidents or tragedies (that I know of) but Cabral is the king of this type of surgery...give me your feedback!

Hi Ladies, I am determined to have Dr. Cabral as my surgeon. I have gotten quotes from Baez, Molinas, Medina and Robles. However, Dr. Cabral has won my vote with his compassion. I called his cell phone on Duarte's Day which is a DR holiday. Not only did he answer but he also gave me reassurance that he would get back with me by the next day. He also stated that if I had not heard from him by the next day, that I should call him back (on that same personal cell phone, I might add). My only dilemma is that I need to have my surgery between March 18th and April 18th (I have to be back home by April 18th in time for my son's birthday.) I know that this is crunch time for surgeons and I am hoping that I can get to him by then. I am open to anyone that has info about getting on a waiting list for cancellations. Wish me luck ladies, I will keep this thread updated.
Also, I have found that some of the recovery houses reserve spots for doctors that refer patients to them. I suppose I understand the economic aspect of this, however; I was surprised to find that the same recovery houses that told me they were booked solid, had availability when offered as a package through certain doctors. FYI, if your doctor is not on that list, you may have difficulty booking with them if they have limited spots. Hence why some RH's ask "Who is your Doctor?"...
