Mom & It's Time for Me! - Dominican Republic

Hi Ladies! So Sorry haven't updated in forever a bit of a curveball after visiting a local New Jersey Surgeon which I fell in love with. Check out my profile for his review & pics of my breast augmentation performed by him. I still have plans for a tummy tuck & BBL with Dra. Robles hopefully soon.

On another note, two reports have come out about the recent deaths in DR, the one that just occurred and another about 5 years ago. Can someone explain to me why we DON'T hear about the deaths that happen in the states after plastic surgery? There are obviously some, surgery is a risk but all this media attention on foreign plastic surgery is to push everyone in the states to pay for expensive surgery. Most of these doctors go through the same training as US doctors, in fact many actually go out of the country to receive training as well. Many dominican doctors attend the US, Venezuela, Spain and many more countries. What are your thoughts on it? Is all the negative press about "plastic surgery tourism" free advertisement for US doctors or really are dominican doctors not trained correctly to perform these surgeries?

So I went to a consult in the states to one of the top "Boob man" in NYC and my prize just for boobs was over double the price of DR.....again just for boobs. He also said I needed a lift and would have a "lolli pop" scar which is something to my surprise. I am going to another doctor here in two weeks just to hear them out. It would be easier due to my work to not be out of the country for that long however these prices are bananas.
