Waiting to Be a Duran Doll... - Dominican Republic

So now that I have a quote from Dr. Duran I'm going to wait on her response about the breast lift/augmentation part and then set my date. I also want to get an areola reduction but haven't found many reviews on that. If anyone has any experience please let me know. It seems she is booked out to November but I would like to go in January anyways.

I have been wanting my breast done for the past 5 years. That's how long I have been researching about it too. I've always desired a tummy tuck to get rid of my stretch marks from weight gain but with the prices around here I felt it wasn't that necessary. Also after stumbling on to this whole concept of Tt, lipo and bbl from Duran and Yilys to the doctors here...man, no comparison at all on results. I was looking to spend $7000 on my breast alone, but for that from Duran I'm getting a whole new body that I have always desired and wanted! Def worth the money!

I currently have an hourglass body type and when I was at my lowest weight before it was nice but of course my breasts and butt was the first thing to deflate the most lol

Unfortunately I'm alone on this journey and won't be sharing the news with anyone not even my mother here. It's hard for them to be open and to understand the idea. When I slightly raised the issue about getting my breast done with friends and family the feedback was insane and negative!

So I'm just keeping it to myself. I'm seriously planning and organizing every itty bitty detail like its a FBI operation haha. I picked January because during my weightloss journey I'll be transitioning in clothing, so lots of layers, my breast are 36D now and once I lose more weight I'll wear padded bras to keep the appearance and after surgery I'll have a few months of cold weather to recover and let the swelling go down.

Okay, sorry for the long post and rambling. I know from here until now I'm going to have a lot of mixed emotions but I want to be able to look at my posts to keep me in order. Lol

Hello everyone!

So I have been a lurker on Real Self for about half a year now and finally made an account. Real self members have been such a great wealth of information and now that I’m seriously committed to do this I hope I can return the favor with my review when I get the surgery.

Everyone has been saying how difficult it was to get a hold of Dr. Duran so I was a bit worried. I follow her on instagram (drhilarioduran) and once I saw that she posted an image I figured she was online and sent her my information, pictures, and procedures I wanted done to her email hilarioplasticsurg@gmail.com. I didn’t have high hopes about a response anytime soon but was pleasantly surprised! I sent the email at 9am this morning and got a response at 4:50pm central time. Her quote was for $6,800 for tt, lipo, bbl, and bl. I had asked for augmentation not a bl so I’m not sure if thats what she meant. I’ll update once I hear back from her.

Also, from what I was reading people were stating she wouldn’t respond back to people who are too overweight to get the surgery…but don’t be discouraged! I am 5’7” and heavily overweight but not planning to have the surgery until I lose 50-70lbs, which I stated in the email. Her email was pretty basic with quote price, info on whats included, and how to schedule the appt.

I have been on a roller coaster ride with my weight forever and hated my body. I was taught to always keep my word and have gone the extra mile to care for others, but, when it came to me I always flaked on myself. I had a pretty eye opening moment awhile ago, cried for hours, and decided enough was enough!

I have been on a committed weight loss journey with good progress, and when Dr. Duran responded so quickly I took it as a sign that it was meant to be! haha

Anyways, thank you to those who take the time to display your progress and recovery to the world. I'm extremely excited!
