Day 1

Day 1 was horrible. I wasn't in pain, I just couldn't get comfortable, so I couldn't sleep. I tried to do as much walking/moving as I could because I knew I would get stiff if I didnt. I learned how to clear my clogged drains & pee through a funnel (which is so cool that I'm gonna do it when I'm using public bathrooms!!). Aside from that, I'm doing a lot of research on post op care. This is definitely an experience to say the least. I don't regret my decision at all! Can't wait to see my results. I haven't taken any pics so I can only see a brief silhouette when I'm using the bathroom mirror, but I know for sure this waist is SNATCHED. Yily sucked every piece of fat available. I hope to do my first massage tomorrow. If I'm not able to (due to my comfort level) than I wont, but if I do, I will try and get some photos for you guys to see. Thanks for the support & feel free to ask me anything!!

Day of Surgery

I could barely sleep. I was anxious to meet Yily, get my new body and prepare for the pain that everyone talked about. I got to CIPLA around 7:30am. We were some of the first girls to arrive. I did my bloodwork, cardio workup, X-rays and then sat in Yily's office for a few hours - yes hours - prepare to wait. Yily arrived around 11 after doing rounds with the dolls who had surgery the day before. When it was my turn to get marked up, I went in and she told me to get fully undressed. She asked what procedure I was having and I told her TT/BBL/BL. She marked me up and was very straight forward. I can see how people mistake her for being rude, but she isn't. She's about her business and very straight forward. After I was done w/my consultation, I went downstairs and got registered. Once that was done, I went up to the 4th floor around 11:30 and waited for a room. I sat in the waiting area until 2:30 and finally got my room. I sat in the room until 5pm and one of the docs came in to give me the infamous blue pill. I sat for another 30 min until it was FINALLY time for my sx. Notice, I did a lot of sitting around - so be prepared for that, ESPECIALLY if you're going during high peak season. I was wheeled into the OR which wasn't state of the art but also wasn't like they killer movies where they harvest your organs in foreign countries. There were about 4 people preparing everything. I was given an IV and as the doc examined that he was giving me IV sedation, it was kicking in. I don't remember anything after that except waking up at 2am feeling like I was sitting on rocks. The nurse came in around 3:30 and I asked for some pain meds. She returned at 5 and gave me an injection. Thank God I was just uncomfortable, not in excruciating pain because she took FOREVER! I fell asleep off & on for the next 2-3 hours until Yily woke me up for my post op check up. She explained that she did aggressive lipo, an "extra spectacular tummy tuck" and BBL. I asked her why she didn't do my breasts (which were marked up pre-op) and she said it was too much on my body and "I want you to go home alive". I'm very grateful that she cared more about my health than money. She told me I would get my refund when I go back for my post-op office visit. After she cleared me to be discharged, I went back to my RH.

Arrived in DR!

Exiting the airport I felt like I was on a runway. People are lined up on each side while the passengers exit down the ramp. I was one of the last to exit, so I was alone while everyone stared at me. I just KNEW they knew what I was there for lol. I spotted Jules from Healing Haven and got in her car. It was dark, so I couldn't do much sightseeing. The RH was nice & clean. Most of the post op girls were at the end of their journey, so they were very welcoming and gave me advice on what to expect. I settled in, had some dinner, took a shower w/Hibiclens and went to sleep thinking about my big day.
