Hey ladies!!! So this is my 2nd attempt to adding my post, hope this works! LOL
This is my first post on Real self but I’ve been on here for about 5 months or so. I came across this site a little late. I’ve been researching having this done for almost a year now. Never had I thought about having it done out of the country! A little about me: 34 years old, soon to be 35 February 21, 2014.
3 kids’ ages, 17, 14 and 5, I’m done with the baby making!!! Married and ready to do something that I want to do for me FOR A CHANGE!
My journey: I initially reached out to a local Dr. in my area (DC-Northern, VA area) for a tummy tuck, Breast lift and BBL he wanted to charge me $15,900! That’s a hell of a lot of money but I was willing to swing it. I left a $500 deposit and that was that. Upon doing more research I came across real self. I must say I’ve been addicted every since! I was in awe of the results you get going out of the country, let alone the price! The Dr. I was considering does not provide those results so why pay that type of money and not get what you want. Needless to say I’ve switched Dr.’s. I reached out to Dr. Duran, waited, waited and waited for almost a month for a response. While waiting for her, I reached out to Yily, Yily responded after a week and of course Duran responds at the same time so I got quotes for both. I decided to go with Yily because she had the date I was looking for available. Duran couldn’t take me until the end of April. I was looking to go April 10th and have my surgery April 11th. As of now I have everything confirmed with Yily. She’s charging me $5200 and she said not to send a deposit, to just send my flight confirmation which I did and I’m due to arrive in DR. about 5pm April 10th and having my sx Friday April 11th. I’m staying at Upscale Recovery House. I spoke with Liz, the owner and I paid my deposit to lock in my dates to stay there April 10th – 20th. My husband is going the first few days and I also have a travel buddy having her sx with same day. We're both staying at Upscale. I would like to even meet some of that are going at that time even if we don’t stay at the same place or going to the same Dr. We’re all going this this journey and it’s always good to have someone that’s going thru it too; After all everyone’s experience is different. I honestly need a break from my normal everyday responsibilities. All I do is work, work, work and take care of my family. I don’t want to hear any negativity from certain ones that I KNOW WOULD TRIP IF THEY KNEW, which is why only a select few know. I know I’ll be recovering but the thought of not having to work or take care of anyone and just lie around and sleep for almost 2 weeks sounds good to me, even if I’m going to be in pain. I’ll probably be on more pain than most because I’m having so much done at once. I’d rather get it done and over with. The pain is temporary; the results are forever pretty much. As of today Feb 13th I’m 56 days pre-op! I’m counting down, I cannot wait to get this done…I can taste it!! LOL I’m on Real Self day and night, literally!!! I’m always looking to see results especially done by Yily. I’ll be keeping you lovelies posted on my journey. I’ve uploaded my horrible pre-op pics. Here are my current measurements:

Ok so, I've been stalking this site for quite some time now. My initial thought was to go Dr. Duran after seeing her tt, BBL and breast aug results which is what I want. They are on point! BUT I tried contacting her via email and calling, this was about 3 or 4 months ago and still no response. I no longer do the social media so have no way of contacting her using that method. So I decided to go with a local Dr. in my area, who by the way does great work. I had my consultation with him about a month ago. I put my deposit down of $500, quite hefty I know, especially to now want to go have Dr. Duran do it and risk the lost of my deposit but her resluts are exactly what I'm looking for.
The previous Dr. was charging me 15K which was a lot but I still was going to swing it. I've been on here everyday and night, LOL looking at Durans work and Lord knows if mines didn't come out like that I would be highly pissed paying that type of money. SO, i'm going with my gut. My only issue is getting in contact with her or her assistant Elizabeth. I've callled the phone numbers on her website and also emailed her in spanish and in english in details of what I'm looking for. Does Elizabeth have a separate phone number or email? I also added current pics as well as wish pics. This is fustrating becasue I want to get a quote, send my deposit and lock in my date! BTW, if anyone's going around that same time, I'd love to have a buddy! I think I'm going to bring my oldest daughter too. She's 17, a senior in high school but will be on school break that week.
