“Difficulty breathing (due to dry mucus), runny nose and whistling sound after 3 years of having rhinoplasty!”
Rhinoplasty: Undecided
Pain: Painfree
I've had septo-rhinoplasty 3 years ago. i had breathing problems as well as a slightly crooked nose. when decided to have septoplasty opration i also went for the nose correction. i like my nose's new shape however i cannot breath normally anymore..
since then i've had a stuffy nose. basically my mucus is too dry sometimes that even causes a whistling sound. Or sometimes my nose goes too runny(mainly when doing sports or in winter when its cold).
seen many doctors in different countries but nobody can tell exactly what i really have. i've read many things on forums and apparently this "problem" can indeed occur rarely. i believe the symptoms i experience are similar to the empty nose syndrome.
lately a doctor said that i might have vasomotor rhitinis!?! he said that he is going to add something in my nose to make the nasal holes slightly narrower (almost as they were originally)
