I'm 41, 5'4 and approx 148lbs. I'm a mother or two children, 16 & 12 years old. I currently wear a 34D with spillage or close to a DD, but sagging. My tummy has been through the ringer, with a spleanectomy when I was 14, playing soccer; the scar runs from top of belly button to pubic area...then again 10 years ago when I was getting my tubes tied, and the Dr tore my bowel. They cut my currently flat and tan scar right down the middle. Now I have a butt in the front. ;( LOL!! I am very athletic, but have slowed down a bit lately due to my aching knees. I still workout 3/4 times a week to maintain.

I have been wanting a BA & TT for a couple of years now, but finances were always an issue. Now I have the opprotunity, to get it done, so I'm jumping on it.

About 4 of my girl friends got BA last year, and I am probably still bigger then they are, but I have to wear a bra with EVERYTHING. My boobs need help. I want my girls to stay the same size, and look as nice as they do in a bra, but without the bra...so a full D or DD.

I have scheduled my surgery for Dec. 15th, and am getting rather excited. I've been reading all the reviews on MM & BA/BL throughout this site for about 3 months now. Everyone's reviews have been a great help.

With my first consultation, my doctor indicated I should probably go with Silicone 325cc, with my breast tissue. I am still trying to decide if that will be big enough after they settle.Updated on 16 Nov 2011:Well I finally got my blood work and physical to the dr yesterday. I have my pre-op appt on Dec 6th, my son's 16th birthday. I'm so crazy busy with work right now, I haven't really thought much about the surgery lately. I have my list of things I need to pickup for pre/post surgery. Thank you ladies who supply such great detailed information about your experience, and what others should plan for before/after. I hope I can do the same. I leave for our largest trade show the Sat. after Thanksgiving, and we are loading up the truck to ship our equipment, on Tuesday before TG. I'll be gone a week. I'll be glad when I return, so I can then focus on my surgery and what I need to do to prepare home/family/work before I'm down and out for a little while. I am getting excited, and do check this website often when I get breaks every now and then. I'll check back in when I can. Have a Blessed Day! One month left!! :)Updated on 14 Dec 2011:I'm one day out...soo excited. I'll post more pre-op pics soon. I'm ready, but a tad bit nervous.

I've got all my Rx's and medical supplies, and pjs...Ready.Updated on 18 Dec 2011:3rd day postop and have to say I'm just now feeling human again. First 2 days were pure Hell!! Boobies look great but tummy looks a lil weird to me but not judging until a couple more weeks. I'll post a pic here soon.

I still get weak quick and my back is killing me bending over. My boyfriend is doing his best to take care of me but had to pull my sister in to take over. I hate feeling helpless. I've had a couple crying spells for no reason, and I never cry.

I love my dr. She is awesome. We ended up going 400cc high profile silicone under muscle.

I'll update more later. Hope everyone is doing well that went a day after me and b4. :))Updated on 20 Dec 2011:How do I upload new pics from my iPhone ?? Can't figure it out.Updated on 22 Dec 2011:PO day 7 things are MUCH better. By 3rd po day things were getting better. Had my 1st po visit on Tue. Got all drains and pumps out except one. YEA!! I did have a reaction to the dressings they had around my drains. I have a blister rash down by my tummy incision. It itches and seems to be getting bigger. I put cortisone 10 on it and stopped taking the hydrocodone. Started taking the tylenol today to see if that helps.

Otherwise, boobs look pretty good and tummy really tiny. Just waiting for it to all come together.

I'll post new pics when I get on a computer. Can't seem to upload photos on mobile devices. They need to fix that as most of us are in bed or lounging when we update our status.

Merry Christmas everyone!! Sorry I uploaded 7 pics last time, but looks like only 3 made it. Will upload 7 day PO pics now. 11 days post op today and things are mucho better. I still have not been able to take a shower :( but thanks to dry shampoo and sponge bath I smell clean. LOL!! I still have one drain in that should come out on Tue at my 2nd po appt w/PS. I had to call PS about my rash and she told me to take off all steri strips that I was having allergic reaction to the adhesive, and told me to take Benadryl and keep putting on the cortizone 10. My PS called me on Christmas Eve to see how I was doing (awesome service) and she called me in an anti-itch Rx. Love her! I feel I'm going great, and the rash is slowly subsiding, but the heat from the binder and clothing doesn't help. I'm totally on tylenol and vitamins now. I'll take more pics today sometime and upload them later today if possible.

Hope all my comrads who had their surgeries around the same time I did are doing well. Talk to you soon.

Exactly 2 wks PO. I'm feeling great and can move around pretty freely besides this original binder has had it and driving me crazy. I don't think it's helping much. Went to 2nd po appt on Tue and got final drain out and nipple stitches out. YEA!!! I took my first shower yesterday...thank you Lord!! I feel human again. I still have quite a bit of swelling in my tummy but boobs are looking great but rather sore today. I'm not taking hardly any meds except my antibiotics which end today.

I feel like I'm actually making progress. I love all my results so far. I just hate my tummy scar...I feel like the bride of frankinstien. :-/.

I need a great stage 2 binder. My PS stage 2 binders are on backorder so I should get that one maybe nxt week. I can't wait that long. does anyone have any suggestions on stage 2 binder I can buy myself?? need brand and where to buy. I want to be able to fit into some nice clothes this weekend for New Years. :)). any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Today makes 3 weeks postop. I'm feeling very well and back at work this past Monday. I still feel sore and sometime irritable with the tight binder/support garmets on. My boobs are the sorest and my right boob hurts the most. How long are they supposed to be sore? My midsection is somewhat numb, but I rub is often to keep cirrculation going and my tummy scar is healing nicely. I'm still taking my vitamins I received from the doctor. So far so good. Things are slowly coming together and looking nice. Can't wait for 6 weeks to get here and 6 months...so ready for the soreness to go away.

Updated on 6 Jan 2012:
I have had 3 girl friends get breast augmentations...no lift. They were back on there feet in no time it seemed. My breast are still SO SORE, and my nipples feel like they are being ripped off everytime something touches them, even my bra. After I get the bra on, I'm good, but my incision under my breasts are extremely sore, and I even have the ABD pads under the bra so it doesn't rub...WOW!! I wasn't ready for this. Tummy is still sore, but bareable...no biggie. I need to get with my PS to see how I am supposed to massage these bad girls, so maybe the soreness will go away.

Other than that, all is well. As long as I am still everything is great. ;) I'll check back in next week & with pictures, as it will be one month.

Going on my 5th week, and things are great! I'm still a little sore under my boobs, and around my tummy in the same area. Other than that, I'm GREAT!! I'm able to sleep on my side now, which is awesome. Its funny how you just start doing things out of habit, and then realize, wow, I can do this again now.

I still wish my boobs were higher, but I guess I'm shit out of luck now...because they are not gonna get any higher...only lower. ;-/ Don't get me wrong, I'm still happy with them because they are fuller, but wanted them higher...we'll see what happens in the end.

I'll post my 4 wks pics now.

Updated on 16 Jan 2012:
Just got back Fri from a 4 day Trade show. I was worried I wouldn't have the energy or strength to perform my job duties, but was able to fit in my slacks and jeans, and shirts...looking very curvy and nice I might add. I didn't get tired at all. I just took a couple advil, and was fine. I did wear my binder the first day, and just support garment next days.

I can not wait to start working out again. I have got the workout fever. I was firmly told by my PS office staff...DO NOT workout until you are at least 6 wks, and then you will take it lightly. OK, I said...I wanted to do just simple, no weight, squats to firm up my booty. I guess i'll take it easy until I get the go ahead from the dr. I have f/u appt tomorrow with her. I love going to f/u visits...I have several questions I want to ask.

One, being I want to know ALL the details of my surgery. I feel like the implant is not behind the muscle. When I bend over forward, I have lots of breast tissue, and not firm at all...so maybe it is behind the muscle. I'm not happy with that look. That is the only thing, I'm not happy with, if anything...I wanted my girls firm, and not move much in any position, but I guess it wouldn't look natural then. I guess I'm just going through that phase.

Still waiting patiently... ;-/

Oh my, you're going to look hot when this is all over! I can't believe they tore you're bowel. That's very serious and I'm glad you're okay! Please do keep us posted on your journey. You'll be well on your way to recovery by the new year!

DFWmom 16 Nov 2011
Thank you Angiemcc! I'm hoping it is a success, and all I'm hoping for in the end. I have to go to another trade show the second week in Jan, so I'm hoping I will be drain free and standing upright enough to get through the three days on my feet. (Praying)

Sorry about your difficulty posting photos from mobile devices. Looking into that...

Thanks for your updates, by the way! :0)

yay for drains out! I got mine out early too, so thankful. You look great. Your tummy is tiny and incision soooo low :) I have a small itchy rash area from tape around my boobs. So irritating. I stopped covering my nipples w/gauze and paper tape, I think the paper tape was doing it. What are you using to cover up your breasts?
DFWmom 24 Dec 2011
Thank you sweetie. My rash has gotten worse. I think it is the steri strips. I have tried everything, benadryl n cortizone 10, clean with proxide n water n alcohol then put cream on. Seems like it's spreading.

I am using non-stick gauze pads and they stick by themselves when I put the ointment on my nipples. Then I get an 5x7 ABD pad and slightly cover the nipple pad and cover the bottom incision then put by bra on. I pull the ADB pad under my bra a lil so my bra doesn't rub my incision.

Hope that makes sence and helps you.

Love your story and pics! I hope you can update some pictures soon, I'd like to see how your results look now! ;-)
tinamati 25 Dec 2011
Great results!!! Though you look different- I bet most people won't even be able to tell you got anything done! Thanks your story has helped me!
molly773 28 Dec 2011
So glad your rash is getting better. That was horrible for you! You are lookn great!
molly773 5 Jan 2012
Bummer that you are still having boob pain. Does your PS have you massage? That hurt at first, but I think it helped lessen the discomfort a bit.
DFWmom 5 Jan 2012
Not yet. I was supposed to go back next Tue for my 3 post op appt, but I'll be traveling for the week and can't go back until the 17th. ;( I'll have to ask one of my girl friends how to massage, so I can start doing that. Thanks for the info. ;))
tinamati 16 Jan 2012
My boobs are swishy too! And are under the muscle. Our real boobie tissue is on top so it makes it soft.
taraf1717 (RealFriend) 17 Jan 2012
when the implant is behind the muscle when you bend over its pretty much all your "real boob"...it def looks and feels more natural! ive heard when its in front of muscle you can see the implant and looks less natural...i dont know..thats just from what ive seen !
uniquelynoone 17 Jan 2012
You look amazing.
MrsRod2010 7 Mar 2012
Your 4 week pic is amazing!!! You look SO good here! No wonder women think they can do so many things at only 4 weeks lol. You look almost healed! I'd be confused too! lol. Looking good lady =]
mom_me 4 Apr 2012
It can be deceiving when you are looking better and certainly feeling better than you had recently to think it's all over. I remember saying why am I so tired today?? It really does take time and you will see it more all the time but do take good care of yourself and get the rest you need. Did you post your pics on the doctors board here to see what they had to say about your BA? You have a killer bod girl!
