unbelievable

Was just doing some cleaning and came across all the op reports 5 in all from my surgery and revisions with Dr. Dayan and had a melt down.
I pose this question for Drs out there that dont take responsibility for their actions.
Lets use a tattoo as a refrence as it is permanent, but lets be honest much less drastic as a botched rhino with complications and permanent damage.
So you have been dreaming about getting this beautiful tattoo all your life on a very visible part of your body. You have thought about it for years and afters months or even years of research you find your artist.
So you sit in their chair for 4 hours not being able what to see, but have an idea since you saw the stencil and loved it. You jump out of the chair with a smile on your face with excitment to see the final results in the mirror and shock sets in.
What you thought was supposed to be this beautiful snake tattoo looks exactly like a big dick. To make matters worse its on your hand and you have to walk around shaking peoples hand the rest of your life with a penis tattoed on your hand.
You also catch an infection from the tattoo artist rough technique that leaves irreversible damage to the skin.
What do you do? Just suck it up and be Known as Mr. Dick hand the rest of your life? Ofcourse not.
You seek the help of a tattoo artist who can imorove the tattoo by covering it up. Forget the skin damage. thats permanent. Gotta live with that forever.
But how are you going to afford it since you just dropped all your money on your sweet new tattoo and the cover up will be even more.
Im pretty sure you would go back to the tattoo artist and ask for your money back to fix their mess, and hope that they were a decent person and apologize about the mistakes and refund your money, not cause you want it to spend, but because its the right thing to do and you need it now to help your situation.
Mistakes are made in life, this is understood. But someone has to pay for them, and it shouldnt be the patient.
I hope one day a Dr will step away from his ego and own up to his or her mistake and take responsibility for their actions.
Thats character and good character is all that matters in business and in life.

thanks

Thanks for all the kind words. Alot has happened since the post, and once I feel comfortable with speaking about it i will update anything. My fear is to judgement as I may rank up there with one of the crazyier and vain stories on the site and other related sites. Till then I wish everyone the best on their journeys. Best regards

It has taken me 7 years of reading peoples stories, never telling mine as I felt bad to discredit my surgeons work because he was a good guy. Well after being on the boards for years and seeing "glowing ratings" for all these doctors that supposedly are amazing, I knew it would be a disservice not share my story. I lived with a primary that wasnt the greatest but wasnt horrible. I got used to living with it and was quite confident at the time. Well I ran into a little money and thought hey this will be a great time to just touchnup my nose and all will be perfect. Well I did my research this time and came across Dr dayan. He came highly regarded and made it seem that my surgery would not be complicated and my resultmwould be great. Bam the worst mistake ever. My nose was made larger and severely assymetrical with cartilage used from both ears. Not only did my nose look horrible, but I sustained permanent damage of surrounding tissues which functions will never come back. I lost everything and it took me almost 4 years just to function at 50% my potential. I will never be the same. He was a very nice guy and tried to help out even his revision was poor. I have finally gotten myself mentally strong enough to take the leap a final time to fix thismmess. Although some of the damga is irreversible, I am hoping i can get the quality of work all of us deserve when we intrust our faces to "top docs". I dont understand how he has 5 stars, but im sure I will be the one of many negative reviews to be deleted. Nice guy who probably means well, but his work is shoty and would never wish my last 8years on my worst enemy. Not trying to defame anyone, just sharing my real life experience. I wish someone would of done the same for me prior to my surgery, then I would of hever had to gone thru this.

Super nice guy, but when things went south, got alot of things look fine and arent that bad. Things were obviously not good as 4 consults confirmed very sloppy work
