I'm embarrassed it will not subside and I cannot wear any t shirts or reg materials. It is 7 yrs later and ievery day I am embarrassed and try 2 cover up w a sweeatshirt but I live in fl
I had a breast reduction and lift Sept 2002 and my nipples are embarrassingly hypersensitive and a padded bra does not really help. What can I do? It has been almost 7 years.

I was very much like you and finally thought "I GIVE UP". Yes, it is embarassing but the truth of the matter is...we all have nipples and everyone male and female knows it. Stop driving yourself crazy trying to cover up. I too have the "over active nipples" and what's worse...my idiot surgeon did such a lousy job, they arent even even. I hardly ever wear a bra because the scar tissue hurts so bad yet everyday...I wear my uneven nipples with pride :) If people don't like them...don't look at them. Good luck to you :)
