Not Worth It
Spent: $700 in Delaware

I thought the pain was tolerable but I do have a high tolerance to pain. Burned during the procedure, after an hour I was fine. She did a lot of stacking around my deeper wrinkles and single passes where my skin was smoother.

After 7 days I could go out in public. My face looked more wrinkled than before and I had dents in my face. 3 months later I still have dents in my face and my wrinkles have only slightly improved. The texture of my skin looks worse than it did before. I was told that the dents would fill in with new collagen and my face would look much smoother. I'm still waiting.

Great service, not sure they have enough experience with this procedure

Hi! thanks for your post. Just wondering how your face is looking now? do you still have dents? Do you think they made a mistake when they treated you? Thanks for your insight. Mary

Hi, 8 months later. Yes I still have dents but they have diminished. My skin is looking smoother and some of the roughness that I was hoping to address has smoothed out. Fine lines and deep wrinkles have also diminished (they are still there just not as bad) but in bright light, and I'm outside a lot, you can still see the dents.

Hi, I'm just wondering if you still have the same concerns about your results nowadays. I had pixel 2 days ago and became quite alarmed after reading stories of patients on a website called "IPL and Laser Damage Support" Many people mention these dents and they refer that to skin fat loss caused by the laser. How are you know?

Hi. Thanks for your review. I was wondering how your skin is looking now. Did the dents go away? I had a pixel laser 2 months ago. 3 weeks later my skin started to look rough, with many dents and uneven texture. I was told that the healing period has finished and it would not improve. I tried microdermabrasion, but it did not make any difference. It looks awful and am I devastated. I don’t know what to do.

I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I wish I had good news. Unfortunately, my face is still dented over 2 years later. It has gotten better but i wish i had the face i started with. At this point, I am sure the damage is permanent. My next move is to look into fillers. What I have learned is that dermatologists are not necessarily cosmetic docs. I will carefully check reviews and references before doing anything else.

I have had other skin treatments which went well but they were performed by cosmetic docs who, by the way, charge four times more than an average dermatologist. Now i know what i paid for.

i'm not sure which laser was used on my face for rosacea but it's been 9 months and i still have dents in my face.

i recall dr sami ( jefferson dermatology) starting the procedure at a setting of 7(?). then he said to the assistant, "turn it up" then "turn it all the way up". late that night my face was bright red with deep white lines in it. these were so severe that i called the emergency room at jefferson. they were quite rude on the phone and told me to call the dermatology dept. it was 3 am fri night. i called. my call was not returned until monday morning. my face appeared to be getting better so i didn't go in. when the dents did,t go away, i tried another doc who also told me the lines would fill in with collagen. i'm still waiting. my skin texture us much worse and the rosacea is still present.

Hi Maimed. I just had the pixel laser - I'm 2 weeks, 3 days out. I am horrified by the results. I have everything you described in your post - It's awful. Can you let me know how your face is now 4 months later. I am just devastated. I am meeting with a superstar laser doctor on Monday to see if anything can be done to correct it. Please tell me how you're doing now. I am in a state of panic and crying all day. This is just AWFUL!

Hello Kd, this is a long time later. Two plus years. My face is still dented. I did speak to another doc who said the collagen would fill itself in. The condition has gotten better but my face is still dented. i am getting ready to look into fillers. I have also developed a white circle under my right cheek bone about 1 1/4" in diameter. the skin here seems loose, not as tightly connected as the rest of my skin. St this point, I feel the damage is permanent.
