1 year post op :) Please read I put some helpful info for newbies to surgery and early post op
So it's been about ten months since I posted. I am at the 1year post op mark and it's been interesting to say the least. This has been an experience that has been emotional and rewarding at times. First let me tell you this whatever your expecting from surgery throw it out the window because every persons experience is different. I was unhappy with my pre surgery body like everyone else but I had unobtainable expectations. I sought perfection and honestly there isn't perfection. Those wish pics people post are fake they aren't real pictures. Sure a model posed for them but they were touched up by computers. I feel and look great I look way better than I did before surgery but there is this weird thing that happens that no one every talks about so I am gonna tell you. So I had surgery and I came out feeling great my boobs were huge my stomach was flat and this went on for like six months. But than it happened.... I got use to what I looked like. So every time I looked in the mirror I thought oh my god are my boobs shrinking did I get too small is my stomach getting puffy. My husband took pics and showed me them it was in my head I was just use to my new body unlike the initial shock of what a difference I was immediately after surgery. I believe this is why people keep getting surgery after their first because they are use to their new look and think its not perfect or great anymore but it is. Believe me I am 110lbs 5'6' and I have a 34 ddd bra size yes my boobs are still huge. lol My waist is 28 inches yes my stomach is still flat. lol I really wish someone would have told me to expect this feeling because for a few months I thought damn I paid all this money and don't look any different. When really I do:) I mean when I walk in a room and women and men look at my boobs before my face than there is no issue with my boobs shrinking:) I have to say I feel fantastic and I am glad I got this done but I just wanted to let those of you who are getting surgery and who are early post op to expect this. Your going to get use to your new look and its not gonna seem so shiny and new lol But take pics and look at them you will see that its still a fantastic you :) I have to say also I had an amazing doc who really knows his art in making women beautiful and everything he has done for me is beyond belief and his staff are the most caring people I have ever met

Wow,i really needed to hear that.I look at my breast and keep thinkin their getting smaller but when i go back and look at my old pics.im very grateful for being able to get this mommy makeover done.
Glad things are going so well for you. Your body is just perfect. Thnx for being so honest to other ladies here. Did you apply any scar cream to your tt scar? It's hardly visible
Thank u and no I did not use scar cream just made sure I kept it out of the sun n did not tan it for the entire year. I had a c section scar that I did this for and you can barely see that either so I knew if I didn't let the sun age the scar it would fade ::)
You look great girl!
