I am 50 and was a total sun bunny until my mid late 30s so lots of damage. I've been getting IPL treatments on my face for 10 years (whole package the first time, then once or twice a year moving forward). Gets rid of brown spots, improves rosacea. I've had a great experience. Having said that I've done my research and have only gone to experienced doctors. I've always been able to go back to work the same day and the worst thing that has happened is hyperpigmentation for four or five days followed by incredibly fresh, healthy looking skin. I can't emphasize enough the importance of finding a competent practitioner. Bargain shopping never pays off for medical grade treatments or plastic surgery.

BTW, the 1080 is for four treatments. The first time I did this, years ago, four treatments cost almost 2k...
