Worth It
Spent: $5,000 in Kenosha, WI

Today is my first day with invisalign. I was not expectinng it to hurt much. The lower ones do not hurt at all but the tops one hurt. From what I read it will go away but something you have to deal with the first or second day.

Go to an orthodonist and not a denist.

On my second day now. Pressure on my teeth was pretty bad yesterday, Has lessened today. Took paracetemol before I went to sleep last night and pain subsided. Feels more comfortable today. but I'm still aware of the braces...hoping this will subside with time! I was looking at old pictures of me and my teeth look awful-makes me realise why I am doing this :).

I am on my second tray, and let me tell you it was bothering me the whole first week. It is getting better by the end of second week. So good luck.

Almost the end of my first week, tray one. I am still feeling the pressure on my teeth, which is uncomfortable, but proof that it is working! Have already seen slight movement in my teeth which is good, and my tongue is no longer bein cut to pieces! I have swelling in my gums and soreness, but assume that is down to my teeth being moved about.

I feel pressure on my teeth for about 1 minute when I put my trays on for the first couple of days - I don't understand people who need to take pain relief and that. Im on tray 16 out of 22 lowers and 34 uppers.

Im on my second tray and I had bottons put in before starting on the second tray. Its a lot more dificult to take them out but the pain was not that much. I only had mild discomfort for two days and now I dont feel a thing. 18 more trays to go. Im really loving this. Nobody has noticed them. Its only a hastle to take them out when eating or having a snack but its not that bad. I preferre these 100 times more than traditional braces.

I'm almost nearing the end of my first tray. Really disliked the trays for the first few days. Now, I am fine with them. Pressure goes away after the first few days and I much much prefer them to traditional braces. No one can even see that I am wearing them and I have seen slight shifts in my teeth already. Happy with treatment so far.
