6 weeks Post Op...Venice Beach :)
6 weeks post op
Well ladies the flat side is amazing! Just hit my six week mark and we had a trip planned. Always nervous about flying so close to the procedure but I was not in the least bit uncomfortable or in pain. Flew from CT to CA with a layover in between. My incision started to bother me a bit but honestly the binder is apart of me now. I almost feel like I'm missing something If I'm not wearing it. My incision is still swollen mostly on the left side but Dr. P mentioned I could expect swelling into my 4th month although the extend of the swelling varies by person. Anyway great trip and the feeling of being on a beach with all these other woman in 2 pieces and realizing "hey I'm finally in a 2 piece too"! Priceless! Worth every penny!!????
The excitement is real...3.5 weeks post op!
Eeek!!! So I ventured over to the bathing suit section today during lunch. Was anxious and nervous all at the same time. Needless to say I walked out of that dressing room another person!! I feel a bit more confident with the position of my incision. I tried to share my excitement with a few friends and they just didn't get how big of a deal this was. To be in a 2 piece after sooo many years is amazing! With that said I knew you gals would appreciate the outcome considering the journey. Still swollen and my belly button isn't quite right but getting there ????????
