Had a tummy tuck 3/1/12 after having 9lb 6 oz baby - I was 5'4" and 135 pre preg and gained 60 lbs - was left with excess skin.

Only have seen my surgeon once post op I realize he is busy but I would have liked him to look at my incision because I was worried about some swelling and pain - saw his PA's all other times. I also felt like a bother to call and ask a question - That is my only complaints although most of the PA's I saw were wonderful! I think my belly button and incision look amazing! I am so happy with my results. Not as low as I would like - but I took this into consideration before surgery.

Glad to hear things are well. I am doing good. Tomorrow I go see my PS to discuss scar treatment, lymphatic massages and some other stuff. I feel this really hard thing in my tummy but don't know what it is. This is one of the things we will be talking about. Other than that things are well. Just healing. On Monday it will be 4 weeks PO for me. I go back to work next week. Not looking forward to that :-(

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I didn't realize I recieved a comment. I'm still figuring this site out. I have started scar therapy. Ive been using palmers cocoa butter. I started even before all the glue came off the incision. I'm doing very well and I think my scar and belly button look great! Very swollen though.. I can tell it is fluid bc I can push on it and its almost like it waves across my belly, right above my incision. I called my ps and talked to the pa.. I have an appointment on the 9th and she said to just wait until then bc its not painful and I have no signs of infection. I was a little disappointed... How are you feeling?
