45yr Old, 2 Kids, Anterior Lumbar Fusion Scar - Dallas, TX

After the birth of my son (9.5lbs at 38 weeks!) I got pregnant 8 months later and had my daughter (8.8lbs.) Having the two so close together really did a number on my abdomen. I lost my waist from the muscles being so stretched out and was left with a sizable pouch. I have wanted a tummy tuck for the past 10yrs, but never found a doctor I felt would be able to give me the result I wanted and without a big red scar that would make me look like I'd been cut in half lol! Then I had a nurse refer me to Dr White and after seeing his before/after pics of "abdominal "sculpting" as he calls them, I booked my surgery for the day after Christmas so I wouldn't have to wait months for him to have an opening. I am now 8 days post op and am absolutely exstatic already! Yes, the first 3 days are pretty miserable (and I stayed in the hospital for 3 days) and that first time getting up to walk was anything but pleasant - but when he removed my bandages/binder on day two and took a pic of my tummy for me (shown below) - I about cried with joy! I can stand up pretty straight now and am healing well, and have never had any bruising! Just a couple of little blisters from the foam tape and that's it. He tightened my abdominal muscles (giving me back my waist!), removed all the loose skin, and the front of my thighs at the top are tight again as is a bit of my butt - like he pulled up my skin like a pair of saggy stockings! That was a very nice surprise!! Yes, he costs more than any other surgeon I looked at, but my feeling was do it right and go to the best doctor or don't do it at all. A tummy tuck is a major surgery and Dr White's expertise, experience and very caring demeanor made me feel safe and confident in him and my decision to have the surgery. I can't wait to see what my tummy looks like in 2 months, but I love love love it already and he said it's going to keep getting better and better :)
