I have had this done twice and I would love to find someone who really knows how to do this procedure. The first time I went to the provider because she was highly recommended and she supposedly teaches this procedure. I had upper/lower eyeliner, brows and full lips.

I had a dental block before the procedure because there are so many nerve endings in the lips. Ladies, I would recommend that you NOT even think about the full lips without the dental block. She put outer eye "wings" on the eyeliner even to I did not tell her I wanted that. The lower lookes like no liner at all. When I went back for lip correction because they were lopsided and to fix the lower lids, she did the fixes and then wanted to charge me additional. I told her I was not paying additional to get what I paid for in the beginning. Long story short, the brows did not stay and the lower lids never did take.

About two years later I went to another provider in Plano and had it all redone. She did not like the shape of my brows and reshaped them. And she redid the liner. I did not want to redo the lips again. When she finished I did have more liner on the bottom lids and the brows now had two tails each since she did not follow the original shape.

Then she wanted an additional $600 to remove the old tails. I would not pay that and have just been using tatoo cover-up makeup on them. It would be really nice to find someone competent to do the work, but I'm at a loss as to where to look now.

My rating:

I do not recommend either one of the people who have worked on me because they had not done a good job and then wanted more money to get what I requested in the first place.

Hi peachy,

I'm so glad you decided to post a review. :) You have gone through quite a bit trying to find someone who can do what you want without giving you extra "wings" or not doing it right so it doesn't stay, oh my. You might want to check out these providers in your area who do permanent makeup and are on RealSelf. Also you should chat with the ladies in our permanent makeup forum they are full of information and help. Please keep us updated,

Thanks so much for the review,

Hi there! I just have to weigh in on your experience! I am SO sorry you had such a bad time and are not happy with the results. Unfortunately what the second tech did to your brows is completely WRONG! One should never ever change the shape by going outside the original work! And then to say she would remove the old work AFTER she made a mess of your brows is insane! If anything she should have given you the choice of removing your old brow tails BEFORE beginning any work that would give you two sets of brow tails. I am shocked at this.As far as PMU needing touch ups, this is correct. Due to lifestyle, sun, etc PMU does fade to a certain degree. Every two years is about normal to maintain a certain depth and intensity. I am in Florida, and women are in the sun constantly, and this has a big influence on the life of PMU. Hopefully you will gain confidence and have the procedures done to your liking. If you need help finding a great tech, let me know!
