A couple before and after 6 weeks....

6 weeks post op! Woohoo!

So six weeks post op is finally here!! Although I don't feel like I have any changes as far as my incisions go, I am feeling amazing. I am completely straight up (I can't help but wonder if it is because I had a drainless TT and he did a lot of sutures in my stomach and that maybe it takes longer to get straight up from that) and I am able to bend and move and lay down and everything normal I used to do prior to my surgery. So that's exciting. I am wearing my biodermis silicon strips (which are a sticky pain in my a@@ haha) during the day, and then alternating vitamin e and a bleaching compound my doctor prescribed for me in the evenings. I only have to wear my spanx during the day. Which I am loving. The only concern I have is my scarring (i can't help but wonder that because I am so fair, maybe my scars are going to stay dark and red? I have no clue) and I still am pretty swollen. Especially in my hips. I can't wear my jeans yet, so I have been embracing the cute elastic waisted styles. Hopefully my swelling will subside in the next month or two.
Other than that I am so super happy with my results. I am loving the definition in my stomach, and once the swelling goes down I think it will look even better. I bought a two piece the other day (mind you, I haven't worn a two piece in 15 years) and I have no clue what I look like in it right now, but once my hip swelling goes down and my scars fade I think I will be so happy to wear it out in public. I am just so so happy about my stomach. I honestly love it and am so happy that I did it. I just need to be patient to see the final results (around next feb! Hah!)
Thanks for all of your positive comments, they really do make my day and are so helpful for me in answering questions. I really appreciate this site and all of you ??

Just some before and 5 week post ops
