I was always self conscious about my nose. I have a small face but my nose was not proportional to it. I never would let anyone take pictures of my profile because I felt that my nose stuck out so much.

To start, I'm writing this now just 1 week post- op. Granted it's only one week but I am already pleased with my results. My nose is swollen- which is normal- but from the profile it is exactly how I wanted it. I have always been apprehensive for surgery (the idea just scares me) but I am so pleased that I decided to have Dr. Cochran as my doctor. A reason for choosing him is because he specializes in rhinoplasty. Apparently those are few and far between. He is certainly the Michelangelo of nose doctors. He also uses 3D imaging so you can see how you want to fix your nose and get an idea of a before and after. I know some doctors still use packing but he doesn't at all. He uses internal splints. Also, he has the best bedside manner! This was my first time for surgery and I was scared half to death. Before surgery he couldn't have been more calming. Also his nurse, Jane, is very nice as well. The Texas Institute for Surgery is where it's preformed and it is very, very nice. I would recommend him to anyone who asked.
