“Tummy Tuck 01/10/2012”

Hello, I am a 29 year old wife and mother of 2 (4 & 8 yr old). My dreams were always to have a flat tummy. I have worked hard at achieving my dream but have had little results so I decided to go see a board certified surgeon. My visit with him was very pleasant, he advised he could help me achieve my dream. He also advised me of a hernia I have which also contributes to my huge stomach. So he assured me that he will not only flatten my tummy but repair the hernia as well. I am so excited but nervous about surgery being that this will be the first but I am a firm believer that my saviour in Christ will see through this. The big day is Jan. 10, 2012. Wish me luck!!!

Hello ladies, today I have an appointment with my primary doctor to get a pre surgical clearance to make sure all my i's are dotted and t's are crossed. I have always been in the best of health but why not go the extra mile to be on the safe side. Hope all goes well on that end. I have 22 days left and the excitement is somewhat overcoming the nervousnes!! Hope it stays that way...Hope everyone is having a fabulous day~

Today I have 13 days left and all I keep thinking is will I wake up from surgery and that everything goes well. This will be my first surgery and the adrenaline and anxiety is driving me silly. Lord please watch over me!!! To everyone else Happy Holidays and Happy Healing? Did anyone else have this same feeling?

Hello tt's, I have 11 more days until my big day! Whoo hoo..the part that's constantly on my mind is being put to sleep. Never been put to sleep before, ladies how was your experience on that?? I'm hoping they can give me something to calm my nerves before knocking me out.. Help

Good Morning my beautiful TT's. I only have 5 more days and I never thought I would say but I am more excited that nervous!! Saturday I will be turning 30 and what more can I ask for than to recieve a flat tummy.LOL What a birthday present to myself! For all the TT's that are already enjoying their new tummy's Congrats and for all the ones that are waiting to crossover, GOOD LUCK! Enjoy your Day~

I have 48 hours and I'm soo excited. Had a great birthday weekend, now I'm just doing a little house cleaning so that things are spick and span when I return..

Thanks everyone for your prayers and messages, I appreciate you all. I just made it home from the hospital. Still very soar and the pain comes every time I get up to use the restroom. Other than that I'm okay. I still have not took a peak at my tummy yet but my ps did this morning and said it looks great. I'm afraid to open the binder. Lol I have 2 drains that are not draining that much so hopefully they can come out by friday. Good luck, happy healing, best wishes to everyone!

I haven't saw my tummy as of yet but my ps took a look before I left and said just perfect so I hope I feel the same way. Im scared to take a peak! Lol Thanks for all the prayers and messages! Hi ladies, I hope all is well. I'm slowly but showly moving around. And I must say that I never knew how important your abdomen muscles are until now. I want to take a peek but im afraid to open the binder? Is that normal? We're you all afraid to look? My ps looked yesterday before I left and said it looks perfect. I may sneak a peak today. Hi TT's. Today I'm feeling great and I'm walking a little straighter this morning. I go see my ps today hopefully I can get the drains removed , im only draining 7ml on each side. Also, I want to take a peak at my tummy.

Got my drains taken out today, my ps said I am healing very wl.. I'm thankful of that. I think I am too swollen to post pictures. Maybe in a few days I will be able too. Besides my phonr is uploading double post for some reason??

Hello ladies, i'm up and running on the laptop now because my cell phone was posting double post for some odd reason. Nevertheless, I am feeling okay with no major pain. I experienced a burning sensation around the incision area but it only lasted for a few seconds. Im super thrilled to have the drains removed 3 days after surgery. My mom said i was a spring chicken and that it doesnt take us youngsters to heal..lol I took a picture earlier once i got out the shower and was skeptical about posting but why not? i am only 4 days post op and i already see a difference! So i know as the days go by i will continue to see improvement...Hope everyone is having a splendid dady! Stay tuned i will attempt to post the picture.

hello ladies, I know it's been a while but I was going through. I was kind of down because I felt like my tummy wasn't making progress in the right direction. I felt as though I was at a stand still. Now the tables have turned and I am starting to see progress and I'm loving it!! Of course still swollen but I can really see a difference and it's getting better and better. I hate I didn't get to participate on picture day, everyone face matches there nice bodies...Ladies you rock!!
Nevertheless, I will post pics soon to show off my progress. Hope everyone is having a good day..ttyl

Hello ladies, im about to post a few pictures but keep in mind im still experiencing swell hell. Today makes 2 weeks post op and im feeling great swollen in all. Overall, I am satisfied and I hope everyone else is too.

Hello ladies, I know it's been a while since I've been on here. Work, kids, hubby, everyday life....u know how it is. I am satisfied with my results but I feel I am at a stand still. I also have a small budge at the bottom that I'm not pleased about. I'm wondering is it seroma?? I plan on calling my doctor on monday to see what he think. I will post pics shortly. Good Morning ladies, I called my ps about the budge at the bottom so I am scheduled to go Thursday. I hope this can be a quick simple fix. Overall, I am still totally satisfied with his work. He brought me from a mighty long way, I just want to see if I can work this small kink out.
