I forgot to give a mini bio so here goes! I'm 45 yrs old, 5'5 and weigh about 150... I'm pretty much happy with my body except for my "Jelly Belly"!! I've had two previous surgeries cut from the belly button down, so I'm happy to be getting rid of these scars!

Just a short update more when I feel better! Surgery went well, had to spend the night. My first night was VERY painful, looking forward to less pain. Very swollen and bruised in the flank area. Thanks SO much for the prayers!!

Well I'm 4 days out from my surgery and I'm almost wishing I wouldn't have done it. I thought I had done my research but I was NOT prepared for this. Between the pain, the drains, the overall experience has not been good. I got to see my incision and it looks horrible, my belly button doesn't look right, I'm bruised all over (especially above my incision) maybe it's just too early and everything hasn't settled or the pain medication is playing a part...... I just feel so emotional right now."..

Today is day 5, went to my PS and got 1 drain removed he will remove other by Friday. My pain has gone down some but the lipo areas are the worse, I can't even tell a difference. Will post pics tomorrow.

Posted New Pics! I still can NOT decide if I like the new belly or not. I think maybe I'm just being impatient.....

Well today makes one week since my TT w/ Lipo! I got my second drain removed. I'm off pain Meds only taking Ibuprofen and Tylenol.. I have very minimal pain, mainly in my sides from the Lipo. The "blues" have FINALLY left and I do hope they stay away not welcome! From what I've read and my own personal experience I think everything that I've encountered is normal. From the regret to the blues to the just not knowing is part of the journey... It DOES get better as time passes. I can not wait to see my results in a week.

Well I'm 2 weeks out from having my TT. The best advice that I think I can give is do ALL your research and KNOW that this is NOT a overnight result. It's a hard surgery but if you do what your suppose to, get the rest needed but most of all be patient, it all comes together. I've been all over the board with different emotions but I'm finally starting to feel good and like my results! I can't wait to see what it's going to look like in 6 months. I've lost 10 lbs and I'm back in my size 4's. Still dealing with swelling and have some pain, but overall life is good!! Will post new pics in a few days!!

Time flies when you're having fun, right? Well it's been 3 weeks since my TT, I seen my PS yesterday and it seems that everything is looking good and doing what it's suppose to be doing, so I'm HAPPY and PLEASED.. I still have some soreness which is part of the process, but I'm walking 100 % upright. I still feel like I'm going to pull something open. I wish there was a "Miracle" cure for the swelling. I'm down to wearing the Spanx during the day, and I also add the binder at night just for added support. Can't wait to see what my results are for next week!!

Post Op 28 days since TT!! Posted new pics, excuse the glare from being so WHITE! HaHa... I so need a TAN!! All is well, progress still going good, have my moments when I'm completely drained frome energy but otherwise good. I finally have the feeling back in my stomach area, it feels SO weird at times, I get these tingly pains but I believe that's all normal?? I don't go back to the PS for 8 weeks, woo hoo!! Have a safe and blessed Happy 4th!!

Well welcome to the Tummy Tuck Club!
One more week and hello new tummy. Keep us up to date on how you are doing.
I completely understand:) Been there. Actually there was a point in my process when my husband thought he was living with Cybil. I was all over with board with my emotions like a crazy woman. He would stand back, scratch his head and ask where his wife went...LOL
Hang tough because this is all normal and you will be just fine.
gypsy girl I will be thinking about you tomorrow:) You will do just beautifully and everything will be fine. The nerves and guilt are all so normal and we have all gone through it. That will soon pass and you will be on the other side and home healing.
I look forward to hearing from you after surgery.
Hugs to you:)
I am so glad you are feeling better. I promised you it would be better and I would not lie about that. The first 7-10 days post op just plane suck!
I was just looking at your 21 day post op pictures and you look wonderful! OMG and it is only going to get better and better each week.
I can't wait to see your 6 month pics:)
Prayers~
