So last April I went back to my Original Orthodontist because my teeth were overlapping one another mostly my fault because two years prior I had just got a set of braces off but some how lost both clear retainers. Thinking here I go to pay another $2200... I was surprised because they have a lifetime warranty on my teeth.. funny when you think about it. But they only end up charging me $900 the second time around for my XRAYs, and my new retainers. I am getting mostt of that reimbursed by my insurance. But for me braces give my smile confidence, they hurt like heck sometimes but they get the job done

Sorry to hear about the relapse after not wearing the retainers. :(

Glad you were able to get things going with braces again.
