Eventually, after so much research and that whole gotta-call-every-clinic-because-the-sites-don't-post-prices thing we all have to do, I decided to check out Cur Laser on Main street because it's just so close to home and the business hours make the office accessible after work and on weekends. Score!
Setting up the appointment was easy, even despite Dr. Kumar Shivdasani being out of town for the surrounding weeks. The staff and doctor himself are all very accommodating.
Dr. Kumar Shivdasani sat through my long-winded explanation of precisely what I was and was not wanting (I'm preeetty picky!) and in the end, he got it spot on. I couldn't believe how intuitive he was.
I was looking for big, drastic, "who's that lady" results; he's a conservative injector. For a while I feared I'd leave the office unhappy with how little product he put in my face, but he injected bit by bit to eventually build up my dream lips and cheekbones and I'm so happy with the results.
The numbing cream he used was instantly, and very, effective. I literally didn't feel any needles at any point.
I took up a bit too much of his time with my rambling and requests, but he was very humble and accomodating the whole way through- even with his next clients waiting. I feared bruising, but actually didn't bruise at ALL. Even if I were to have, he apparently has a laser that zaps the temporary darkness away.
I'm so pleased with the product placement, shape, technique, and results.
He used I think 1 vial of juvederm in my lips, and 3/4 vial in each cheek (voluma I believe) or something like that. He told me the pricing breakdown through out so I wouldn't be shocked in the end.

Outstanding. Really surpassed my expectations (which were already high). Dr. Kumar Shivdasani took the time to describe his tactics and the products, listen to my requests, and make sure I loved what he was doing as he was doing it. Gentle, considerate, generous. Amazing bedside manner, wonderfully informative, not rushed or distracted, I felt taken care of. Maybe because of my experience as a medical aesthetics consultant, or because of how busy he was, I didn't get filled in on aftercare procedures or told to make a follow-up appointment. These are usually pretty important for a first-timer.
