Selfie photos of the results (8 wks post surgery)
It seems that most of my swelling was gone within 4 weeks. It is now 8 weeks, and I think I look the same or very similar. I weighed 150 on the day of surgery, and today I weigh 142.6. I admit I don't drink enough water, and now as I'm about to take some selfie photos, wish I had/did/do! Fat was removed from my tummy, waist, flanks & back. A total of 4.4 liters of fat!
6 weeks post op ...
It's been 6 weeks post-op for me. The bruising was completely gone within 4 weeks ... Much of swelling gone by then too, but appears that it's still going down. From reading other reviews, my recovery and results are excellent. I think that I was fortunate to have my procedures completed by Dr. Rashi & Dr. Cohen. Feel great ... 6-8 pounds lighter. Considering that is fat weight, that's great! Will post photos this week ...

From 2010-12, I gained 50 lbs. maxing up to 177! Changed diet and over 2 years lost 30 lbs, but much fat remained. My husband suggested lipo. I found Dr. Rashi & Dr. Cohen in Costa Rica. I contacted them via email and they immediately responded to my questions. I noted many favorable reviews about their clinic and decided to schedule the procedure. Although my procedure did not require an overnight stay at the clinic, Dr. Rashi allowed me to stay anyway. I'm grateful that he did, because I felt ill following procedure. The staff took good care of me. When I felt too ill to eat, they tempted me with chocolate (they said I needed to eat before getting pain-killer). They provided my husband with some Chinese food they'd ordered in for themselves. (so sweet) I have some bruising and my torso feels very tender ... the hardest part has been wearing a girdle garment. The best part: It's only 2 days post-op & we're shocked at the already visible results! Despite the swelling, my husband and I agree that I look amazing. I feel like I cheated, but glad I did because I forgot my body could look so nice! I won't be feeling like "Frieda Frump" anymore! I feel motivated to take better care of me! I feel grateful to my husband for letting us spend $$ on this, and to these doctor's for their talent and passion. Will post photos after we take some - I'm still resting!

Their clinic is modern, from the furnishings to these doctors and their treatments. They were informative but didn't try to sell anything. They enabled me to make decisions with clear understanding.
