I had a complete face, forehead, eyes, neck and arm lift and a San Jose, Costa Rica on Sept. 22. I have nothing but major problems. Please let my horrible experience help someone else to never go out of the USA for any kind of surgery.

I had TCA 35 peel 11 weeks ago in Costa Rica and now I have scars all the way around my mouth, plus its hard to open my mouth and I have lost color in these areas. Its now white where the scars have formed. Please give me any advise you can. I started using pure silicone gel just one week ago and see no difference so far. It this ok to use? What treatment should I seek? Thanks
Great review?

Don't recommend now for anyone to leave the US for surgery of any kind. All of my surgery done there was terrible. Please don't go to him. I had gauze left in my forehead from a browlift. Just got it out this week and this is week 11.

Hi, I'm terribly sorry to hear what happened to you. I just want to advise you about your scaring, there is an oil which is fantastic and it helps heal/remove (over a certain amount of time) scars, dryness, strech marks etc.. It's called BIO OIL and it's kind of a orange/pink colour and it's fanstastic. Alot of pregnant women use it hear throughout pregnancy to help keep away strech marks that form during pregnacy. I'm not sure if this is available in the US but do look for it. Even buy it online. I would recommend this to help you with your scars untill such a time you have the work you have had done fixed. Really hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck Emma, Dublin :)

Consumers often report adverse effects from care on this board, and these things can occur from any well intentioned Cosmetic Procedure. For TCA peel complications, there can be a number of reasons. TCA peels can be formulated in a number of ways to yield a 35% level. It can range from 28% to 42%, thus the operator, must know how his or her pharmacy prepared the agent. It is also critical to know how many layers were used. You may need to see a Plastic Surgeon immediately to determine the best course of action. A Dermatologist well versed in Deep and Medium Peels will also be able to help you. Depending on your skin type, sensitivity factors, general health issues, and peel care, theseissues can determine what may have happened in your case.

I have heard really good things about your Dr. I met him once when I was going to have surgery there. Can you tell me more about your results. I am still considering going to him but more details would be great. So sorry about what happened 2 you!!!
