I would like to add that I spent one night following my surgery at CosMed. It was easy for me to go home as my residence is in Southern California. I returned a week later for removal of stitches, and was up and around within the week following surgery. Due to the fact that I also had a chemical peel simultaneous to the surgery, it was two to three weeks before I was comfortable to spend much time in the public eye. However, aside from rigorous exercising, I was able resume my daily routine within a week. Pain was minimal, and subsided within the week of surgery. Bruising was normal, less than I expected, and the swelling gradually diminished and was aided by specific massaging techniques suggested by Dr. Fuentes. At three months post surgery, bruising and swelling is gone. And, without close examination, it would be difficult to tell that I had a surgical procedure...aside from the great results!

Earlier this year, I had a neck and lower facelift performed by Dr. Fuentes. I have just passed the three month mark, and could not be happier with my results. I have known Dr. Fuentes for several years, and have great respect for his professionalism and expertise not only to assess what’s appropriate for a surgical procedure, but also to advise what might not be necessary or beneficial. He is clear to describe the surgical process, post-op expectations, and the recovery process. I had several pre-op and post-op questions that I posed through email, and he was timely and helpful with his response. The CosMed surgical facility is modern, clean, and well staffed with friendly personnel. Dr. Fuentes’s pre-surgery requisites match stateside requirements in order to confirm surgery readiness. My only recommendation would be if you are not bilingual and English speaking only; make sure your overnight caregiver is English speaking as well. BTW…I also had a breast lift performed by Dr. Fuentes last year, and that too has rendered a positive outcome. Dr. Fuentes is a trustworthy and skilled surgeon with a kind and supportive bedside manner.
