I have thought of doing this for 20 years. After many medical surgeries, and almost losing my husband we decided that it was time I get a better quality of life . We have two kids in the service, one currently in Afghanistan he will be home maybe February.

After waiting so long and consulting around 8 surgeons, I narrowed it down to two. Met them both again with my husband and made my selection. In 5 days, I will be able to say I did it. Scared, worried, nervous, and any other nerve feeling you can think of, I have it. My s said I should be able to handle the pain, I am hoping so, I am having a TT, Lipo, and BBL.

Prepared the best I can, not sure what else is needed. Have my chair, my boppie, nt sure what else I will need. Suggestions I am all ears.

You need to get into the doctor right away.  Call the office and tell them you need to be seen tomorrow!!

Welcome:)

I am very happy to hear you did such extensive search for the doctor!   You will be very happy about that.

Five more days is very exciting and I am looking forward to reading all about your journey.   Almost there so hang on!

I wish I had the "nesting" feeling some get. We are empty nesters, with our kids half way around the world. No arrangements really need to be made except where to order dinner from. Chair lift is here, it's getting more real. Still nervous about the end results and the pain. The will I look better syndrome is here...

It's all good!   Some go through this and others not so much.  Just roll with it and you will be fine.  At least you will have a low keyed recovery ahead.

You will come through this with a beautiful new tummy and loving it:)

Keep me up to date on everything.

Ok, in unusual pain, garment is too small and not long nough. Low grade fever, to boot, so when does the loathing belly go away. Got to remove my foam.

The first two weeks are the worst.  The swelling will be very uncomfortable for a while but hang on.  Keep an eye on the fever and call the doctor if this gets over 100.  Also ask for a larger binder!!!   It needs to be snug but should not be so tight you are miserable.
