To begin, I found Dr. Altman as a referral from over 4 friends who were very happy with the care and outcomes they had received. After seeing how wonderful they each turned out, I wanted it to finally be my turn! I did a lot of research in my area of Tampa and after reviewing many before/after photos and testimonials; I knew Dr. Altman would be worth the drive to Miami. I was nervous to begin with since I would be an out of town patient, but his friendly staff made my experience all the better. Ingrid and Millie responded to any questions I had prior to my consult in less than a few hours or even minutes each time. On weekends when I asked what I thought were silly questions they were quick to reply as well! It made the process very stress free and you could tell how dedicated his staff was. All documents to fill out were sent via email, and I had my consult/operation in the same week (while making a small vacation out of the trip as well). Once arriving to my consult, the warm and beautiful staff greeted me and Dr. Altman answered every question I could possibly think of. I went in with the mindset of saline but after much talking he assured me silicone would look much better with what I was barely working with. I could not be happier with my decision. I chose to get a newer implant that he offered; Sientra- a brand that caters exclusively to board-certified plastic surgeons. I was excited to hear Dr. Altman performed the surgery with a Keller Funnel, not all surgeons use this method. Surgery went very well and something about Dr. Altman made me feel at ease with very little nerves. The staff contacted me as soon as I made it home to make sure I was doing alright, later that evening after Dr. Altman’s other surgeries, he contacted me as well. The next day before making my way back to Tampa, I stopped by his office so they could take a look at how I turned out and remove my dressings. I was happy to see I did not have a single bruise (and I bruise VERY easily), and that I had feeling in both my nipples, which happened to be a concern of mine. This proves how delicate and gentle he must had been during the procedure. After only a few days, I was up and moving around as if not much had happened. Dr. Altman and his staff have periodically been checking up on me ever since and after only 3 weeks, my breasts are starting to feel wonderful and are settling in very nicely. My incisions were made very small and have been healing thanks to the amazing work of my Dr. and the aid of the scar cream he had suggested and sold me. My only regret would be that I wish I had listened to his suggestion in the beginning to go up a few more CC’s. He truly does know what would look best so listen to him! Regardless, I got exactly what I had asked for, and am very happy with my new additions and am very lucky to have had such an incredible overall experience.
