One week post-op

Well, it's been one week!
I stopped taking my narcotic pain meds after a super horrible bout of constipation. Ahaha, what I way to start my update! But that was 3 days ago. My bloating is now almost gone. Which I am INCREDIBLY happy about.
I switched to my white bra in the fruit of the loom set of bras I got. For some reason that one felt a lot tighter than the black one I have. Which really makes no sense to me! But, my incisions are now incredibly irritated from the bra rubbing against them. I sent a message to my PS asking what I should do about this. I went out to eat with my husband and had to press on my incision the entire time we were at the restaurant to keep it from bothering me sooo bad. I probably looked super weird clutching my boob. But, oh well!
My boobs have gotten a tad bit softer, and dropped a teeny tiny bit. My left nipple is still slightly pointing down which bothers me! And they incredibly sensitive. To the point of being hyper sensitive and painful if I touch them.
I'll have to upload pictures tomorrow. Don't feel like playing around with them tonight.

3 days post-op

3 days post-op and I'm still not in a lot of pain.
My PS's office called me to check up and the hospital where I got the surgery called to check up on me. It was very nice! I was definitely not expecting the hospital to.
My boobs look exactly the same aha. Still high and tight. Feel like I've got huge balloons sitting on my chest. I put on a very small front close sports bra. It is really compressing everything in and slightly uncomfortable. But if it makes my boobs squishy earlier, then I'm all for it!
I think that I'm going to stop taking all of the pain meds except naproxen and the muscle relaxers til they're gone. I don't like the idea of being on oxy for a long period of time as it is highly addicting. I took off the patch that the anesthesiologist put behind my ear. I regret doing that! I've been nauseous after taking my pills the last two times I've taken them now and had to use the anti nausea dissolving tabs which I honestly don't think really help. So I end up just laying in bed trying to force myself not to hurl lol. I take all of my pills will a cup of yogurt. I should probably start adding something solid to it like a protein bar or something.
Uploading photos of my beautiful shelf boobies aha.

1 day post op

On Thursday my husband and I traveled down to Columbus to try on sizers the day before surgery. I decided to go with 475 because they 500's looked just tad too big. I will probably regret that decision lol. But 25 cc's is basically a tablespoon so I should be happy! Met my surgeon face to face that day and she was very nice and made me feel relaxed. I talked to my patien coordinator quite a bit before talking to Roxanne. I did not realize that they didn't measure anything. I think Roxanne likes to play it by ear. So, I wasn't actually sure what my BWD is. From the previous surgeon I was told 13/13.5 cm so i think that 475 was a good choice.

Day of surgery we drove the hospital, registered in and then sat in the waiting room for about twenty minutes before being called back to the surgery prep place. The nurse I had was fantastic. She was sooooo nice. Waited in the surgery prep area for about an hour or so because I couldn't pee. They had to crank up my IV aha. Andy (my nurse) actually hit my vein on the first try. It usually takes a nurse about 4 tries to get in in properly since my veins are pretty tiny.
My anesthesiologist looked like Robert Downey Jr. he was pretty gorgeous aha. He interested something into my IV to help me relax right before surgery. I remember going into the operating room, looking around a bit and don't remember anything after that. I can't even remember switching tables. I think the anesthesia kicked my butt so quickly because I only got about 3 hours of sleep the night before. Kept waking up every half hour.
When i was out of surgery, I remember by throat hurting something terrible and Andy feeding me ice chips. I was almost sick from the anesthesia afterwards even with the ear patch. But I didn't get sick! Which made me happy. I dislike vomiting in front of other people lol.
Remember being wheeled out to the car with my husbands laptop and my clothes and stuff next to me. He completely forgot to grab them when he went to bring the car around. Silly man.
I only took one percocet before leaving the hospital. I was worried that two might make me sick on the 3.5 hour ride home from the hospital.
My pain actually has not been bad at all. Right after the surgery was done I rated my pain around a 6-7 but since then it's tapered off down to a 3 or so. Probably due to keeping up on my pain meds and everything. And I still take the least amount I have to.
Ride home from the hospital wasn't bad. I slept most of the time. Stopped at wendys and had a frostie. Sooo good aha. I silly-ly forgot to my travel neck pillow on so my head kept going sideways and bouncing off the door lol. Until I finally remembered to put it on about an hour from home.
I slept decently off and on all day after the surgery and i've slept off and on all day today too. I was on the couch the day of the aurgery but moved up to my bed for the night and was pretty comfortable. I have about 4 pillows propping my back and two pillows just for head. And another pillow between my husband and I since he's a cuddler. It's my protection from him aha.
I haven't really been able to see my results or boobs or anything because i'm not allowed to take off my post-op bra and dressings until tomorrow morning during the shower.
I took a quick peek down the front of my bra, and looked at my incisions. My incisions were pretty bloody and leaked a bit through my post-op bra. But I am a bleeder so that doesn't surprise me. And it's all dry blood, no new red blood which is awesome. I think the sides of my boobs are what hurts the most. I haven't put any ice on them but I'll probably do that in a couple hours.I am pretty bloated and have been drinking tons of veggie juices and taking stool softeners and stuff.

I ended up getting 475 cc smooth round high profile gels. I've poked my boobs a couple times and the tops already feel like they're getting a tad bit softer. High as heck though. Basically up to my shoulders. Against my armpits. It's so strange and they almost look too small. But I'll be happy anyway. Cause any boobs are better than the ones I had lol.
Uploading a couple pictures of me with sizers, my post op bra and my incisions.
