SURGERY DATE MOVED CLOSER!! YIKES!!

So apparently my Doctor is scheduled to attend a seminar on March 13 and needed to move my surgery date. I definitely did not want to push it farther away, so instead moved it up from Friday to Monday. I am a little bummed because I had already booked my hotel stay and all and now I have to go back and try to reschedule that without being penalized. Now to re-book my hotel room, at least the change made it a little closer to being here. I am so excited, a little nervous, but excited still.

FINAL PAYMENT MADE! SURGERY WILL BE COMING UP SOON.

Made my final payment and I am so happy. It don't seem like it will take any time at all for March 13 to arrive and I couldn't be more anxious. I am super excited to just get this done and over with. Right now I am nursing a very badly strained lower back so the little bit of time that I do have will be spent doing just that and getting ready for the pain associated with the healing. I just want my date to hurry and arrive, can't wait for the Summer and no more pooch on my belly.

PRE-OP COMPLETE!! PAID 70% OF MY TOTAL COST!! BLOOD WORK DONE!! COME ON MARCH 13TH

Well I did my pre-op yesterday, everyone in my doctor's office was very polite and helpful. Gail spent plenty of time answering all my questions, explaining stuff in great detail, it was a very pleasant appointment. Gail also informed me that I was getting a good pricing break... I thought my price was a little high until she broke it down. My procedure is 5,600 total, this includes and extended tummy tuck, lipo to flanks, love handles and lower back area, lipo to inner upper thighs and he said he would look at my outer to see if it needed any. Apparently, the normal price just on the extended tummy tuck is 5,700, so I guess thanks are in order because he did give me a good price break. Crazy enough I am not that worried about it, I know there will be pain, but after a complete hysterectomy, 2 natural child deliveries and 4 rotator cuff surgeries, I can get through this. Pain is temporary, but pride is forever, this is my now ever repeating motto... lol I told Gail don't tell me what he is going to do I am way to squeamish, just do it. I am very curious about the post garment wear. I know they give you the binder, but I really think I want something more to wear for at least a month or so. I am going back to work after the first week so compression to help with swelling will be a necessity. Can anyone provide any suggestions on what garment you all seem to like? Now I play the waiting game, just can't get here fast enough... thinking maybe I will get the girls done later this year... heck why not!!
