Scar Revision surgery 3/21/17!
So I had an appt 1/31/17.
I didn't scar well, my scars are wide, very dark and theres two white spots on both sides of my breast, I believe that's where the tubes came out, and shots made those spots white, very weird! The shots flattened some areas thou. I have a scar under my left breast thats very sensitive and bothers me daily, with random pinching and it feels uncomfortable even without a bra some days, so i avoid bras. We talked about options, I decided to go with scar revision since its been over a year and theres not much room for improvement.
Three weeks later, I called my insurance and they said there was no claim, so I called my drs office thinking they didnt put in a claim, but im so happy because it was put in and approved! So that stress quickly ended!
Im scheduled for surgery March 21, 2017.
Im so happy. I love the size I am, but now its the scars holding me back from my confidence, I cant even hide these scars with makeup. Im very self conscious with them. Things I use to do I cant anymore. If they weren't so dark and wide I would be ok with them showing but every time I look at them, I get very sad. Im very excited and hope this revision helps there appearance a lot. If not, Im happy I tried and hope at least the sensitive scar goes away. Maybe I can get a tattoo on them if they dont get better in a couple of years! haha
