The skin on my stomach was seriously damaged due to four pregnancies. The skin was loose and wrinkled. My muscles were damaged, and you could not see my belly button due to the loose skin. I wore loose shirts for many years to hide this. However, after 10 years, a friend suggested that I see Dr. Mess. After my first consultation, Dr. Mess was amazingly friendly. Her confidence and knowledge of her field was obvious. The surgery went great. I was in and out the same day. She (and her amazing nurse Renee) made sure that I understood pain control and how to properly care for the post-surgery site. I had regular follow-up visits. And the way my stomach looks now - 6 months later? Woooow. Let's just say that I wore a shirt yesterday that showed a bit of belly, and I did it with pride! :)
