Another Summer of Hideous Bat Wings

I decided I am going to probably wait until September to get my arm lift for several reasons.

1) Dr. Smith said if I am going under anesthesia, that would be the perfect time for him to make any minor tweaks to my breasts or TT. Many times the tt incision needs a little correction. Sometimes after it all heals women need fat transfers or liposuction. So waiting until the final look of my Mommy Makeover is complete makes the most sense. By September, I should be pretty much all healed up.

2) I can work out my arms and get a tiny bit of fat off before he takes the skin. It's not much but I need to get back to the gym anyway after all this surgery recovery. Having a little calendar deadline like that is a great motivator for me. I hired a trainer for slimming down for my wedding and it was fantastic. I did really well. Unfortunately that was also the day that I looked in the mirror and realized that while I was getting more muscle, less fat and looked better in my clothes, I looked WAY WORSE naked and that skin could not be exercised away.

3) I don't want to be wearing compression garments on my arms during Summer. Shudders.

4) I might get my saddle bags lipo-ed at the same time. Depends on cost. Again... do NOT want to be wearing spanx in the summer.

I'm pretty bummed out about another summer like this but I feel so blessed to even have been able to consider plastic surgery I feel guilty even feeling sad about this. The good news is that THIS summer, I can show off my midriff and boobs all I want. :D

Postponed... too much surgery all at once.

Well, I'm still getting this hideousness cut off but not until later. Mommy Makeover and arm lift is way too much surgery at once. PS wants to take his time and doesn't really want me under more than 6 hours. I'll update when I have a new surgery date. :(

I am so nervous about this arm lift. There don't...

I am so nervous about this arm lift. There don't seem to be any doctors that specialize in cosmetic surgery for extra skin after weight loss. Compared to breast augmentation, I think the brachioplasty seems a simple surgery for a PS to perform. My arms look great when they are at my side but raising them anywhere above waist level is horrifying! I want to get this done so that they are healed by summer!

So far so good... I haven't had the surgery yet but I am paying careful attention.
