I scheduled a CoolSculpting procedure on the 25th of August. Since it has been only three days I can't write about the results but I will write about my experience.

I signed up for a package deal (4 treatment areas and they were running a special). I had three areas worked on this past Thursday and already have my 4th scheduled in three weeks when I have my follow up.

The first area treated was my lower abdomen. They applied a medium applicator. When they put it on my I couldn't help but laugh...I am kind of ticklish but I think I was more laughing due to the odd sensation. It did not hurt. It just felt like a lot of pressure or when you take a cup or a suction and give yourself a hickey when you were in middle school.

I did sneeze during the procedure and that is the only time that I felt pain. It felt like a mixture between bad bad cramping and numbness. I did three areas. My abdomen and both flanks. They only time that it did feel uncomfortable during the procedure was between 2-5 minutes after the suction was taken off. Thankfully, it passed after the 5 minutes.

Right now three days later I have some scattered pinprick bruising and my stomach has the same feeling as when you lay on your arm and it falls asleep.

Oh also I went for a 3 mile run 2 hours after the procedure, no pain medicine. I am so happy.

My rating:

They were friendly, and offered me an I-pad that I could play games or watch movies on while the procedure was occurring. They checked in often but not so much that I couldn't relax. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes and the payment was straight forward and easy.

How can someone post a "worth it" three days after this procedure and get away with it? That does not help us make informed decisions. Who's monitoring these boards?

Good point, markychv. I've marked it "Not Sure" for now, since there are still some treatments left to do.

Well I have lost 2 inches on my waist and 2 around the hips. I feel it was worth it because of the no down time. Although I did not have results posted till now the experiance was worth it compared to more invasive techniques.
