Does Not Work

Not Worth It
Spent: $10,000 in NYC

I had 3 FX Fraxel treatments and 1 CO2 laser treatment for cystic acne scarring on my cheeks and chin. No improvement. I still have scars, actually more noticable.

In the past I've had 1 chemical peel, 1 acid peel, 1 microdermabrassion, 2 dermabrassions. But I still have very visible scarring. Goes to show you the dr.'s have no integrity. They just want to make money and have no idea the hopes they give knowing these treatments will not work. I'm not from India but I hear if the dr.'s don't treat your issue they do not charge you. It's called honoring their word and making sure they can help you. I guess all these platic surgeons, dermatologist dr.'s I went to didn't care about me as a person or didn't care about their honorable skill of work. Look at all these movie stars looking like a blow up injected botox. Goes to show you there's no pride in their dr.'s work.

Pros - The thought of having clear skin

Cons - the actual procedure did not minimize or clear acne scarring

My Doctor: Name not provided

Well know dr.s & surgeons. But still did a bad job. Actually they did what the machines can do, which is NOT to fix cystic acne scars. Hey but at least I'm helping dr.'s pay for high end vacations & material items on my reception salary!

I agree with you 100%. I have had chemical peel's lazer resurfacing dermabrasion and fillers. It's all false promises to get as much money as they can from you at one time. There is no excuse for the lack of integrity in the medical profession.

I understand acne scar frustrations. Thanks for sharing your numerous attempts at smooth skin as I found myself heading in that direction. I had CO2 and Pixel laser treatments 15 years apart, and BOTH created increased scarring by laser in the hands of incompetent people. I pray an artful, skilled, medical technician will appear in my life and improve my skin surface.

base on comments i've read, i observed that this C02 fractional laser can only see most improvements on wrinkles than acne scars
