41 Year Old Mom 143 lbs 5'4 TummyTuck & Lipo

I'm finally getting around to uploading a photo. Tomorrow is my 3 month mark!! I will be getting more before and after pictures from my doctor at my next visit.

I'm still doing light exercises and have added some biking. Some days I feel amazing, almost 80% back to normal. It is usually those days that I overdo it and pay for it for a few days. I ran errands and worked all day today, in and out of the car. It's 10 pm now and my body is beat. I keep thinking that this will go away, but as the Doctor said, 3 months minimum to be somewhat normal. So I should be there right? The worst part is my lower back from the Lipo. I think the skin is not quite "fused" to the muscle yet. After a long day that area feels like mushy fat. It wouldn't be as bad if I wore my CG.. so try not to complain too much. I am doing 2 days on and 2 days off. The doctor said I'm supposed to wear it all the time as before, but that is Cray-Cray. lol.

I'm adding a picture from a party this last weekend. I need to take some better body shots.. this is the best I have now. I'm so excited, I would have not been able to wear a dress like that without a CG-Faja before! I felt sexy... now if I can just get these damn braces off!!!

Wow, it has been 10 weeks and so long since my last post. I still read everyone’s posts but have been bad and haven’t posted myself. I am slowly getting back to normal. I still have a few aches and some swelling, but nothing I can complain about. I have been good about not doing too much according to doctor’s orders. I am sticking to walking on the treadmill, but I do keep a good pace and I raise the incline. I am also doing some light weights with my arms, nothing on my legs and no high impact cardio. I have started riding my mountain bike but on super easy trails. I think here I push it a little more than I should but as soon as I feel discomfort I back off.

However, I am a bit guilty about wearing my compression garment like I should. I was wearing every night, but the past few days I haven’t been doing that. I’m so happy with my results and I’ve read some others that are already told they can take the CG off by now, so I have justified my cheating in my head. (Guilty face)

I am super happy with my results and my boyfriend is thrilled, but I have to admit that I have become desensitized to the improvement. I was very happy with myself before the surgery. I knew I had quite a bit of extra skin that needed to go, but I was happy anyway. So, while I still think it was 100% worth it, I see my tummy tuckas more of a maintenance thing. Now… I may change my opinion when I get in a bikini and go to the beach. I think that is when it will hit me the most! I feel like I just got a 100,000 mile tune up on my body. Feels great to get it done, and so worth it but it is still the same car. Lol. I’m just as happy as I was before, and I am happy with that.

I can’t say the same for my boyfriend; he loves seeing me in my sexy dresses and nighties. Of course we have always had a passionate relationship and he loves me just as much as he ever did, but he is so visual, it is cute to see him get even more excited.
