Day 22

I finally started sleeping through the night again on day 20. I still have swelling and soreness but the God awful pain has finally ended. I'm now experiencing some unpleasant restroom issues but that I can deal with. I am grateful that I can go about my normal day to day life. Thankfully I am a stay at home Mom, with a husband who has a flexible work schedule. I really feel for those who work and experience intense side effects after the procedure. I have decided not to go ahead with the additional treatments suggested. After my experience I feel it would be like playing Russian roulette.

Day 17

Still experiencing pain, I still have yet to sleep through the night. This has definitely impeded my day to day activities.. The Vicodin and gabapentin that were prescribed really didn't do much so I stopped talking them. The gabapentin has some serious side effects. I'm a Mom and I can't be taking narcotics for weeks at a time. Besides they don't work and make me groggy. Until Doctors come up with a better pain management plan and fully disclose the risk of severe pain... Instead of minimizing and constantly trying to reinforce the slim chance of being in pain. I personally will not advise this procedure to friends and family. It's not exactly cheap, but if the procedure truly requires no down time then I shouldn't have had this experience. If you do plan on this treatment. Talk to your Doctor about the possibility of pain. Make sure their office has an effective pain management plan. Plan on the worst case scenario. Get all of your ducks in a row, don't make any social commitments. Buy a cryomax ice pack and plan on wearing dresses and yoga pants.

I have been religiously exercising and watching...

I have been religiously exercising and watching what I eat. Still unable to lose that stubborn belly pooch. I thought this would be a terrific way to finally see results in my midsection. I was told that it was virtually painless and I was sold on these key words, FDA approved & Non invasive. Its been 13 days since I had the procedure done and I am still in pain. Yes, that's right, excruciating pain. Don't fall for the some people have a lower pain tolerance nonsense. It's nerve pain and it is relentless. I was prescribed vicodin and I still have pain. Most of my relief comes from the huge cryomax ice packs my husband bought for me. I have been unable to do much the past two weeks due to the pain. I wake up at night as soon as ice pack is room temp and my medicine wears off. Definitely doesn't fit with the initial claim of being able to go about your daily life. I cannot wait for this pain to end. Will not be going back for the additional treatments suggested. I've had a child, surgery and ovarian cysts. Never felt pain like this before.
