I'm currently 5 weeks out from my BR surgery. Things are mostly going well. I went back to work after 4 weeks. I was feeling pretty good at that point. Now that I've been back for a few days I'm realizing how run down in getting.
Also, I am getting my period for first time since the surgery and I definitely think that's not helping with my feeling swollen.
I went to try on a bra today. I don't want to buy a ton just yet but wanted one to wear with work clothes. I fit very nicely into a 36d, very smooth fit. That hasn't happened since high school. I was wearing a 38DDD before and was spilling out of it. I hope I still go down a bit though.
My surgical glue is starting to come off and my incisions look fantastic. The scars are minimal. I had a really great doctor. One complication...on the left one where the nipple incision meets the vertical one I had an internal stitch work its way out. It wasn't painful but it's slowing down the healing there a bit.

Hi all. Haven't updated in a while. I've been busy recovering. Recovery has been going pretty well. I'm still very swollen and sore. It is slowly improving, though. About half of my stitches are dissolved. Luckily, since I had the lollipop procedure I haven't had much difficulty lifting my arms.
I've seen my PS several times and he is happy with my progress. He is so nice, and so is his nursing staff. I'll be going back to work in about a week. I was really lucky to be able to take a month off.
