Almost 2 months

Almost two months since my surgery and everything is going well. I'm happy with my results and I'm getting back to normal. My nips are still sensitive and the boobs don't feel 100 % but honestly it gets better every day. I started working out again (P90X here I come!) Running is so weird and I feel like they're gonna come out the bottom or make them sag so I'm trying to get over that feeling and give it a little more time before I gy
et back to running in the am again. Overall, the worst is over, I look and feel great and it was definitely worth it.

I made it!

Hi eveyone! I am finally able to get on here and post an
update. Ok so I had to be at the hospital at 5:45am and surgery was sheduled for 7:30. I was so happy to get the first appointment. Me and the hubs got there in time, we were sent to registration, then a bunch of us were, kind of herded, to the day surgery suite. Each of us was assigned a little cubbie like room with a bed, then a nurse came, asked me the same questions, what's my name, birthdate, what was I having surgery for, etc. Then she got me all hooked up, heart rate, blood pressure oxygen. Oh before that I had to take everything off and change into the gown and take out my nose ring (I was trying to keep it in!) Then another nurse, I think her name was sheryl came and another nurse, can't remember her name right now. They work with my Dr. in the operating room. They both said my doctor is always late (he was but only 5 mins!) but they both really liked him and said he does really good work. Then my doctor came. He was so relaxed and funny, cracked a few jokes, drew on me, said he's see me in a bit, then Cheryl put some stuff in my iv and I was out! Next I knew someone was waking me up with that smelly pad thing. I had to stay there for a while beause I was not doing too well. I had awful cotton mouth, and they wouldn't give me anything till I sat up. I finally got home around 2. Pretty rough at home last night. I puked 3 times, could't sleep or eat, awful taste in my mouth the whole nine. But! I made it through and here I am on day one and I am already feeling better. The pain is manageable. I took my oxy all yesterday (kept puking it up) and this morning, but am trying tylenol. I really am not looking forward to being constipated. So I'm trying to get ahead of it.
My boobs look awesome! They are tight and high but thanks to all the girls on here - I kind of know what to expect, so I think they'll be perfect,
I also got my lower lids done and let me tell you, I look like someone beat the crap outta me, but i know it gets worse before it gets better, so I am looking forward to that. My eyes are pretty swollen to sorry if there are a lot of typos! I'm gonna try to get some rest before my son gets home, so talk to you all soon!

Pre-Op at hospital today!

So I did my pre-op today - this stuff just got real! I haven't ever been in the hospital before, never been sick, had lasik about 10 years ago and my wisdom teeth out (was put under for that) about 20 years ago, but that's it. So today I went to my appointment at the hospital. First I had to sign a ton of paperwork, get my palm imprint (to check in on surgery day), they took a terrible picture of me and then I was sent to the back for the rest of the stuff. My nurse's name was Brenda - she was awesome! Friendly, funny and very nice. Got weighed (ummm I gained 3lbs, great.) got measured - I'm actually 5'1" and 3/4ths? for real? let's just go with 5'2". She asked me a ton of questions, and told me I didn't need an EKG because I don't have anything wrong with me and I don't take any medications and so she just had to draw blood (2 vials). Then she ran thru the pre-op check list (no alchohol, no medicine, stop taking vitamins, have someone there to pick me up, etc., etc.) She told me that my doctor was really good and he does really good work - I was very happy to hear that! She told me the hospital will call me the day before to let me know what time the surgery is (nothing like waiting till the last minute! --- I really like to be prepared, so I'll just have to roll with it for now). She did say they are usually scheduled in the morning - I asked for the first appointment - so I'll hope for the best.
I have some before pictures here. Funny thing is, this past week I was ovulating and my boobs looked really good (compared to my regular ones). Not so flat and empty. I was thinking..what the hell am I doing? What if I end up worse in some way - you know too big? double bubble? too high, never drop, etc. etc. Ugh - my brain better shut off or I'm gonna have a problem. I'm sure in a week they'll be back to the sad, pitiful ones I've been used to. Also winter is here (well not this week in Florida) and so we cover everything up and it's not a big deal. When it's summer and I'm trying to wear my clothes (I like halters, dresses, tube tops - yes I am the embarassing mother to my 15 - soon to be 16 year old son, poor thing!) as I was saying...in summer I'm sure I'll be so glad I did it. So sick of trying to hike them up and make 'em look decent. Soon that will be over!
This morning, I woke up and took a look at my eyes and immediately thought - I will be so happy to get rid of these bags - they are awful and I am so over them. I wear way too much makeup (eyeliner) trying to hide it - but I know that isn't working - especially being 45 with tons of makeup on - not a good look. I'm posting a pic of my eyes too.
Thats's it for now...I can't believe that I'm only 1 week away from my big day! Yay! Go Meenah! Actually my name is Deenah but my hubs and son jokingly call me Meenah, because they say I'm mean (aren't we all just a little bit?) Hee hee.

Dr. Egozi is great! I am very happy with the results so far. I only heard great things about him (from people who knew him and work with him, that do not work in his office) and after choosing him for my surgeon I, too, only have good things to say! I know that if I decide to have any more "work" done in the future, he is the only doctor for me. Please read my first post for more details!
