Breast Implants: Stories

Be Prepared to Have Them Redone and Redone Again... I Just Had Them Done for the 4th Time in 30 Years - Expensive!

I dont know how common it is to have breast...

I dont know how common it is to have breast implants done only once in a lifetime but that was not my case at all.

The first was silicone but had them replaced with saline when all of the controversy came out on health comlications. The 2nd set (Saline) was put behind the muscle, the breast began to sag but the implant stayed put, it looked deformed. I had the saline replaced but partialy behind the muscle but the saline implant was like feeling a water filled balloon that was 1/2 filled. There were dentations in the implant that could be seen thru the skin, so gross!

I wish I owuld of never done this! Finally (I feel as if I have the million dollar boobs)! I had the saline taken out and replaced with a solid silicone subtance that can not leak, I hope I have these until I die because I cant afford this any longer

Great review?

This doctors office is one of the least expensive, they kill you with kindness but once a problem arises or patient is not happy they quickly dismiss their patient. Finally went else where to get the result I liked

Any patient who is contemplating breast surgery should have some important facts addressed before they make their final decision. Yours is one that I address on the initial visit. "If you have a breast implant surgery, you are essentially guaranteed another operation related to your breast within you lifetime" This may be due to many different factors and conditions. A common scenario would be a ruptured implant. Other causes such as in your instance is capsular contracture, changes can also me related switch in size or material (saline vs. silicone). There are other reasons for a revision. The bottom line is that once you have had breast implants you will need another breast surgery in the future. Just an F.Y.I., I hear many questions about removal and replacing implants every 10 years. I don't feel like anything should be done if it is not broken.
