One Week Post-Op!!
Well, after just a minor complication (I ran a fever and had to be admitted an extra day) I am happy to report that I am feeling pretty good! I am still a bit sore, which is expeceted, but overall things went great! I did have to call the office today because I haven't had a bowel movement in a week, and they told me what to take to try to help with that situation. According to my scale, I am down 11 lbs!! However my Post-Op follow up is next week and will know for sure! My doctor was amazing, professional, positive and great bedside manner! Can't recommend Dr. Northup enough!!

I am all set for surgery... again. I was scheduled to have it earlier in the year. However, bronchitis put that surgery off and now I'm just 3 weeks out! I'm really anxious, but more excited than anything. I was starting to pack away my summer clothes in totes to go in the basement when the thought came to me... I won't be wearing these "fat clothes" ever again!! That was an awesome thought. I have started going for longer walks in the gym at work and that liquid diet is upon me. I'll be glad when this is over and I just started!! I'm ready to begin this life changing journey!
