I Was Soo Nervous - Cincinnati, OH
I am 24 years old, and have always wanted breast...
I am 24 years old, and have always wanted breast implants since I was in high school. After saving enough money I finally scheduled a consultation. I had originally scheduled it with a doctor and found out he wasn't board certified so I immediately changed doctors. I had went to a doctor in Cincinnati in which one of my friends had previously went to a month before. Before getting the implants I was a size 32-34 A, and I wanted to be a full C.
After my consultation I was determined that I wanted to do the procedure. The doctor and nurse were very nice and answered all of my questions and concerns. That same day I scheduled my surgery date for 11 days later. I was very surprised I was able to get in that early. From that day on I was nervous and thought about all the possible complications that could happen, and even almost convinced myself out of it.
The day of surgery 9/18/12 I was very nervous mainly because I have never had surgery before. I got there and I was the only one getting surgery at that time. I changed into my gown and they put my IV on, then I patiently waited for the doctor to come in. Once he came in he marked me, and they sent me into the OR. I started getting loopy with the drugs and within 3 minutes of being in there I was out. When I woke up I had minimal amount of pain. I was about a 3 out of 10. A little pressure is all I felt. A little difficult to breathe at first with the pressure. I was only in the recovery room for about 5 minutes and I was released.
Once I got home, I had only taken one percocet and one valium at a time staggered throughout the whole day and that was all I needed. I wasn't in too much pain at all. Sitting up was the worst. I definitely reccommend sitting upright such as in a recliner. I didn't sleep much that day either. I only had two naps for an hour each. And that night once I took my meds I slept great all night without waking up one time.
Post op second day,9/19 I heard was supposed to be the most painful day. For me I was a little more sore than the previous day but once I had my meds in me I was completely fine. It wasn't anything unbearable that I couldn't handle. I have been up walking around the house, not lifting or anything like that, but doing simple things.
Tomorrow will be my third day post op, so I can take my guaze off and be able to shower.
In my personal opinion it was a great experience, I got 350cc's filled to 375cc. I am 5'1 and about 108lbs. My goal was to be a full C, and I haven't quite gotten a good look at what I am nor have I been measured, but I would say it is atleast a C.

What a great review of your recovery. Thanks so much for posting this! I hope you'll keep us updated as you continue to heal! Fingers crossed for full Cs.
