I had saline implants put in around three years ago. While I thought I would like my breast being larger because I have a wider shoulders and frame I am finding that my breasts are weighing me down severely. I find it hard to breathe because of the extra weight on my chest and stress on my back.

I had this procedure done because my breasts were noticeably uneven in size. They are now still uneven in size but it is less noticeable.

The pros are that I had a good experience with the surgeon and staff along with the enhanced self esteem i get when looking at myself in a swim suit. The cons are that I find it hard to run like i used to and the size can sometimes be indecent in a swimsuit.

How much extra weight has this added to my body with a 500ccs implant overfilled to 550?

I am scheduled to get my breast augmentation this June. I am deciding to do 500cc saline. Absolutely no bigger tho. I tried 550cc sizers and they changed the actual appearance of my body! If you have any recommendations please let me know! I am 5'4 130lb bra size 34a (sometimes b) and I have 28in waist, 38 in hips

Well I am 5"8 and I find my boobs to be way too big at 550ccs. i can imagine being 5"4 and carrying them around. i think people take for granted that bigger breasts can sometimes make you appear heavier in size so I suggest that you make sure they are proportionate to your body before you make that big decision. :)

550cc per side is 1100cc total. Given that the metric standard is 1 litre (1000cc) of water is 1 kg (or 2.2 lbs) that means you're carrying an extra 2.42 lbs, total. The added stress to your back could be the result of an improperly fitting bra (shoulder straps too narrow, bandeau too large, cups too small). As for not being able to run, I can only suggest doubling (tripling?) up on a really good sports bra. There are other options for getting your cardio rate up, such as a really intense session with weights (and they don't have to be huge weights), such as using kettlebells. No need to be doing movements which cause your boobs excess strain. As for the swimsuit concern, is that your self-perception, or have you received negative comments? If the latter, then it's to be expected. Some people have nothing better to do than to take shots at people who actually make an effort. Taking someone else down a notch makes them feel better about themselves. Don't give them the satisfaction, just smile and stand proud.
