60 Year Old Nana Needs a Tummy Tuck, Lipo, and Fat Transfer to Breasts - Cincinnati, OH

Today I was able to sit at my computer for a couple of hours and work (I teach at a college and have an online class going on). I was pretty comfortable for the first time. Even my back is hanging in there. I tried on a few of my old clothes, and I am super excited about the results! I look pretty darn good in them, and some of them are hanging on me. Loving my new body. I promise some new pics soon. I am going to the doctor tomorrow for my two week check up, and I am driving for the first time so I am kind of nervous. Will update you all on what he says.

Had my drains taken out a couple days ago, and what a difference it has made! I think much of it is psychological, but I feel like I am walking better, holding my back straighter, and getting more energy. My pain is definitely much better from not hunching so much. I managed to get through the whole morning and a shower without pain medication. Just took one because I am not going to push it too much, but less meds means more energy.

As far as how all is looking, I am swollen for sure, and my scar is kind of ugly and sticks out. However, I am able to put some loose fitting clothes on and I can see that they are now hanging on me compared to when I wore them in the past. My understanding is that I will get even smaller once all the swelling subsides, but I am pretty happy with the outcome so far. My breasts (I had the fat transfer) look fabulous but I know I will lose more of the volume. It is kind of fun, though, having these very full, perky breasts for once in my life :)

One piece of advice I would give everyone is to take some kind of stool softener regularly. I am taking Milk of Magnesia tablets, but I didn't yesterday and I was really cramping and not feeling well from constipation. I am not eating a lot still, but that doesn't seem to matter. Take the MOM or something like it for sure! Well, that's it for today. I will post some pics in my next entry. Happy 4th of July to everyone! God bless.

Still pretty sore and not mobile for very long. My back is killing me from the hunching. I took a couple of pics today, which aren't that great due to my inability to hold myself in any position for very long standing up. I am seeing a lot of swelling, but I seems pretty normal. I think it is really dawning on me how serious this surgery has been and that it is going to be a slow process. However, I feel a bit stronger each day, so slow and steady is okay. Kind of like my new BB. My old one had scarring from surgeries. My breasts feel super full, but my understanding is I will lose some of that. I am hoping I can keep as much as possible, though. I just keep envisioning putting my old jeans on. Will definitely post that pic!
