Pros: Less than two weeks post op, posted new pics...
Pros: Less than two weeks post op, posted new pics on dating site. I'm getting hit on by women 10-15 yrs younger than me (I'm 44) ! And 10 times the amount of people inquiring. I'm happy to look in a mirror now ...
Cons: Why did I wait sooo long lol... Do it, plain and simple. You will be a bit bruised, but that goes away pretty fast. Pain is minimal... I didn't even use my pain meds, just Tylenol. The compression garment is a complete pain in the rear. I ditched it for a 6" ace bandage which I wrapped around my neck...
Motivation:
Drive a lot for business and every time I looked in the rear view mirror I'd see this huge neck of mine sticking out. I'd see pictures and it's disappointing to see the condition I let myself get into. Been through a messy divorce, etc, and it's like all of a sudden there's an awareness of self :).
Last few years I've used trainers, diets and while I do eat better and have lost weight, it just bothers me to look heavy now. I actually do an hour of hard cardio 4-5 days a week, at the gym sometimes twice a day working weights, circuit training, etc. It's actually fun. But, looking at the whole economics of the situation, I think we deserve a break now and then in life... While I feel like I could, over time, reduce my weight, etc. Why not use someone to "help" and target areas to improve your image? I'm an extremely busy professional and if I can pay to look better and to feel better I'm going to do it these days lol... While it's fun to hit the gym, I don't really want to be there that much either.
Outcome:
2 weeks post op and life is good. All the bruising is gone. I can see the incision marks still, but they are almost gone too. There's some residue numbness around the cheeks and in the middle of the neck some inflammation, but I'm working those out. All of this was expected and the doc setup those expectations from the beginning. I mentioned earlier that woman 10-15 yrs younger are interested in me. Visited the Doc for a follow up appointment and told them they had the magic touch and about my new found fountain of youth lol. I'm extremely happy with everything. I'm going to do my body with in the next month or so... get rid of those love handles and tummy. Why not?

Why this rating? He setup expectations and everything went according to plan. I always expect a little chaos factor in life, but this was pretty smooth.
