Just to update my review, it has been about 1 year since my lower face Ultherapy treatment at LPA in Chicago. It did not work at all, nothing. I'm so confused as how it worked on other people and not me. I guess it must have been that I smoked on and off, and that I did have a low grade infection part of the 3 to 6 month healing time.. I still feel completely ripped off, it sucks.
So sorry seabold. It's very disheartening to spend all that money and get no results. I have to say, the improvement I did see was so short lived that I really don't think it was worth the money either. I'm actually looking into fillers. At least you see the results instantly and you know exactly what you're getting up front.
Yeah, thank you:) I will be looking into fillers as well. My main problem is sagging, I don't have any wrinkles (yet). I wish I could just rise above and not participate in this B.S., but I'm about to turn 35 this year, and I just got turned down by a 40 year old guy, so I'm feeling extra yucky as of late. Hopefully I can save the $700 in the next few months, and finally be content to look in the mirror again:/
Ahhh, I bet he's the one that lost out. =) Filler can help with some sagging. I'm having some Voluma done next month (jowls). It's supposed to last up to 2 years but I never believe the 'up to' time frame. In my experience if they say 'up to' 2 years it may last one. I also like Juvederm. It looks very natural and it's only 600 for one syringe. I bet one would last you a while. =) Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide. Take care.
I also had this procedure and it did not work. I also feel bamboozled. I wrote a review as well. I have gotten a VI peel for melasma and that didn't work either. Only thing that works that I have done is Juviderm.

Got Ulthera done for my lower face on March 11th,...

Got Ulthera done for my lower face on March 11th, 2013, it cost me $1600 (I'm a student and single mom so It was a big deal financially for me, but I've been depressed about the way I look for some time so I justified the investment to overall improve my life and how I felt about myself and the ways it would positively impact my mindset and life in general, yada yada . It was painful, I took valium and Xanax, it didn't do anything for the pain, just made me really high and woozy, so I struggled and squirmed throughout most of the procedure. It's been 2 months exactly today and I don't see any visible difference. I feel duped, and I expected to at least see some kind of improvement, like skin smoothness, smaller pores, something, anything....nothing. I know that I haven't reached the 3 months mark yet, so my disappointment is a little premature, but it's not just that I've seen no improvement, but the office where I got it done at hasn't called me or tried to contact me once to follow up. The nurse did take before photos, so I figured they would call me in every month or so to come in and take photos, follow up or something. I'm starting to get the feeling I was taken advantage of. But it seems that way whenever I spend money on anything these days, so I'm not surprised. Everyone is a scam artist these days, and I should have known better then to think this would make a difference, don't be naïve like I was. If you want to make a difference in the way you look, exercise, eat right, don't smoke and wear sunscreen...that's really your only true hope short of plastic surgery, and even then I'd say you're gambling with your money.

It really is a major bummer when you get a treatment done and don't see any noticeable changes. :-/ Hopefully since you do still have a month to go some results will become evident in the next four weeks. Let us know, please. Hoping with you!!

Sorry you haven't seen any changes yet. I did read a post here about the guy who didn't see much change until the 6 month mark and then bam, he couldn't believe the changes. I'm hoping your collagen is just taking it's good ole' time and you'll see the same improvement. =)
me too! I'm still somewhat hopeful. I had a low grade infection during part of last month and so I'm thinking that may have slowed down my healing process? I'm starting to sometimes think I see some minor changes in contour (but no skin texture changes for sure which is a major bummer, something I was really hoping for). It really is hard to tell when you look in the mirror everyday, it's hard to measure such slow change, but like I said, I am still hopeful, much more hopeful that when I wrote the first review. I will keep ya'll updated, since I haven't reached 3 months yet, and I know it does take some longer to see results.
Thank you for responding seabold. Hang in there. I know it's hard not to keep looking for improvements everyday, who doesn't look in the mirror daily? Maybe you could take some photos now so you can see proof of improvement later? It's so hard to see the subtle improvements when we're checking for them everyday. Have you taken any photos? I would recommend taking a photo at the same time, same place every week or so, to make sure you get consistent photos. I'm sending lots of positive vibrations your way and hoping you continue to see improvement where you want it. I'll post my before and after this week. I go in this thursday for my neck. I'm 56, hoping to get some firming up in that area. If it goes well, I'd like to do my face too. It looks like I will have to be patient huh? Good luck. =)
Just checking in to see if you've seen any noticeable improvement over the last month or so. I know you were concerned and disappointed about not seeing much happening....anything now??
