Those days are gone where I had to be uncomfortable with my own body... Having a male breast reduction surgery was one of the best decision I have ever made in my life. I've been planning to have this surgery since I was in my early 20's but I'm so hesitant to do this primarily because of the lack of information. (Who's going to do the surgery? where should I go? How much will it cost?) I love wearing tight shirts / body fit, but wearing those type of shirts make my chest more noticeable so I wear darker color shirts to cover my chest area. On the day of my surgery, I was sedated (twilight). Dr. Truong and his team performed the smart liposuction to remove the excess fat and made a small incision below the nipple line to removed the glandular tissue that causes the gynecomastia. The surgery was painless and only took 2 hours. I went home with my compression vest on. I noticed a huge difference right a way after the surgery. After three days, I went back to Dr. Truong's office for a follow up check up and he was surprised how fast my incision heals. I was advised to continue wearing my compression vest and was told I can go back to the gym after three weeks. It's been one month now and I have appointment tomorrow for another check up (one month). Thanks to Dr. Truong's staff for continuously reminding me through e-mail and text my scheduled appointments and for checking how I'm doing. I'm happy with the result knowing that it's only one month!!!
