Almost 4 weeks!

Hi everyone! It's almost been a month since my surgery! Time has gone by so fast. I ended up removing a lot of the photos I had on here. It just didn't feel right knowing that I had so much exposed on the Internet. From now on just pics with clothes :) I've had virtually no issues otherwise. I massage 3 times a day. I have 2 Hanes comfort fit bras that I switch off with during the week, and I wear my surgical bra to bed. My nipples were really sensitive the past two weeks but that has subsided a great amount. At the 3 month mark is when I'm cleared to wear underwire bras (can't wait)! At 6 weeks I wont have any physical restrictions. I bought tickets to a concert that weekend to celebrate!

Two Weeks!!!

It's been two weeks (well 13.5 days) and I'm already starting to forget I even had my breasts done. Yes they are still A bit swollen and yes they are still a bit sensitive but other than that I haven't been having any issues. I had my second post op appointment on Monday and they took all of the tape off of my incision sites (OUCH). My scars didn't look too bad though. I was given new tape that I am supposed to change once a week to help the scars stay flat. I can tell things have definitely started to drop and fluff. Of course my right breast is taking just a little bit longer. In the end it may end up being a little bigger than the left but that's how it was to begin with. I chose not to do two different sizes to try and make up for it, and I think I chose wisely! I have been back to work for 3 days now and everything has been going just fine. My upper back gets a little sore towards the end of the day, kind of like I just did a full back workout, but that will sort itself out eventually. There's still some numbness right above the incision sites but it really hasn't bothered me. I also started to feel some "zingers" the other day, if that's even what they were. My biggest thing is that my boobs are just itchy! I had pretty sensitive skin to begin with so I've been using coco butter and coconut oil after I shower for that. Another thing is that I have been dealing with is hay fever. My allergies are really bad and sneezing does not feel good! But I'm still 1000% sure I made the right decision. I think they look amazing!

9 Days Post!

Everything is still going well!! My boobs are definitely starting to find their pockets thanks to the breast implant displacement massages and stretches. my right boob is taking longer to soften up and move down. It also hurts the most/feels the tightest in the bottom left corner of my right boob. I've been using ice to help with the pain. I kind of expected that the right would be like this l kind of had a rib that pops out more on that side (see pre op pics). I definitely love them though and wish I could show them to more people!! Completely satisfied with my size and type of implants (400cc mentor HP). I'm down to taking 2 extra strength Tylenols thoughout the day, and maybe one muscle relaxer if needed. I have my 2nd post op appointment tomorrow! I think they will be taking all of the tape off (ouch). The next step will be taking care of the scars. Here's some more pictures!

I don't think I could have found a better Doctor!! Anyone in the Chicagoland area should consider Dr. Placik. I especially loved his staff. I can even text them at anytime if I have any questions. I want to thank them all so much! They never made me feel rushed and they helped tremendously when I chose my size and type of implants. I still have a bit of recovery time left but I thought it was alright to review since I'm just so happy :)
