Chemical Peels Take Time for Results

Worth It
Spent: $250 in Wayzata, MN

I went to a plastic surgeons office for a consultation regarding non surgical procedures and they said to start with a Revitapeel (I might be spelling it wrong). They wanted me do to three, one each month and I have to say that my skin looked wonderful after each one but got better each time.

I recently went to a place that has the new Visia (it looks under your skin for damage and problems) and was happy to find out that most of my sun damage was gone because of the peels. I took my 19 year old daughter and she has more sun damage (thank you tanning beds) than I do at 49!

They do work, down side is you look like a glazed doughnut for three days, it really takes about five full days to stop peeling and you really really peel. My skin is schizophrenic at my age and the peels really stopped the weird acne I never had before and just smooths out the texture. I love them, don't like the peeling, but hey results are what I am after.
